They are not sharp when you get them . I guess you have to your self. But I got them thinking they would be sharp whenever I got them new....

The product are amazing. The blades were easy to put on the scissors. They cut pretty much any material, aluminum, plastic, they are a great tool and very accurate in their description and advertising. I was satisfy.
