This nail gun is good. It's missing the safety goggles and 2 no mar tips. It came missing those things. I returned it and ordered another one. The second one was also missing the safety glasses and no mar tips.

I now have 3 Makita small nailguns, replacing 3 of another brand nailguns, all post bostitch. 18 crown, 18 brad and 15 senco type head brad. I ain't going back. Makita is serviceable, DeWalt is NOT. Sorry! BTW this stapler was a pleasant replacement, however much I liked my now obsolete bostitch's, RIP.

I’ve been in the cabinet industry for 30 yrs, Seems like a good staple gun, no issues of jamming or misfiring. Good price, nice staple gun.

This is a nice staple gun, typical of what I would expect from Makita. Works great, depth adjustment is easy; it’s lightweight and easy to use, no misfires. I can’t ask for more.

Just received mine. I’m impressed with the quality of this tool. Just what I’ve come to expect from Makita. One reviewer indicated he thought the staple magazine is flimsy, but I disagree. The magazine appears to be made of high impact plastic. True, you need to be careful not to drop the gun or do anything to over flex the extension slide sideways when the slide is extended to load staples. This same caution should be taken if using a stapler with a metal slide extension to the magazine. Once staples are loaded and the slide closed and locked, this is a rugged tool. I look forward to many years of service from this tool.

I bought this a few months ago and have used it numerous times to staple down underlayment and to staple carpet tucks. It has worked much better then my other staple guns that I paid more for. The only drawback at all is that it only holds one rack of staples at a time so you do have to reload often. I had zero jambs or malfunctions.
