Fits perfectly on my makita subcompact 6-1/2" circular saw. Makes it into an ideal tool for framing a roof the easy way. Any time where a rafter hanger is useful where a light weight saw is preferable. From storage to hanging it on your belt and performaning anything where the surface your cutting is not flat below you. This combined with the Makita subcompact 6-1/2 is the way to go.

At first I thought the hanger was overpriced but ordered it anyway and couldn't be happier that I did! The hanger is made from heavy duty steel and feels robust and strong. The flip out function works easily and it fits my Makita DHS 661 perfectly. Why this extremely useful hanger doesn't come as a standard accessory item with the complete Makita DHS 661RTJU MAKPAC Kit, I will never understand.

A nice heavy duty hook that attaches to the saw with 2 screws bolts. It folds left out of the way when not in use, with front and right side facing positions when used. In use however, it doesn't tend to lock itself in the those positions and has a tendency to swivel to find its own resting point between the two. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not, but I'm willing to overlook it for now. The main thing is it hangs the saw securely when used.

Fit my XSH04, part works as described. Hook is large and heavy duty. Locks in three positions, folded away, forwards, and sideways. It's been a productivity booster, It will hang from 2x4 and 2x6 material. I'm a fan of being able to hang my saw sideways.Includes necessary hardware to mount. Screws are phillips head, with flat and lock washers included.

works perfectly as intended. fastens easily and snugly. i hang my saw from rafters and such constantly and have yet to have a fastener back out or the swivel action loosen. great purchase.

I was surprised on how big this hook is. Seems well made and hefty.This has more of a curved hook than the Makita XSH03, which holds on thin material better.You can rotate this hook 90 degrees, so it won't be in the way.It does add weight to the saw, but it looks awesome on my new saw and I can conveniently hook it to most places.Overall a good buy, I like it.
