We have a long driveway, approximately 500 feet from our house. The sensor worked great, as long as it wasn't touching the metal mailbox door. 😕

It works when I’m right next to the receiver and tilt the sensor as soon as I step out of the front door … receiver is right behind the door it stops working… useless

On the surface things looked good. However, after correctly installing it didn’t perform. 85 ft straight to my picture with no obstructions and while I watched the carrier open my mailbox for delivery lt didn’t utter a peep 3 out of four times. Also the design of of the receiver (square) covers the entire electrical outlet thus making that outlet unavailable for other use. The few times it did work the signal light did come on but the volume was so weak it could only be heard in the room where installed and the mail notice was only one or two words. It was easy to set up but did not perform as intended. Unreliable

This wireless doorbell first strikes me as sleek and modern. It's easy to miss because of the all-black transmitter, and it's small. I first set it up for the chime mode I liked. It has many chimes or sounds to choose from. You need to pair the remote to match the chime if you change the chime. I first tested it at the front door, and it works. Next, I walked to a gate I wanted to put on for large deliveries in bad weather so they don't get left out. The distance is about 30-50 ft depending on direction but it wouldn't chime. I have the receiver base in my bedroom 12 inches from the window at the same height and it won't pick up because of the metal building I'm in. I didn't want to have to run wires into my house for a delivery bell. I'm not giving up on this bell. I know it works at a decent range if you are outside or in the wood building, but I'm in metal, and concrete will be the same story. Maybe I can find a way to get the base a better signal to reach the window say opening it and putting an antenna. I enjoy the chimes they have some of them are children's lullaby music which has me laughing , maybe it won't wake the baby. Others are soft gentle alarms , so much nicer than a bell .
