Great product. Good idea. Lost 1 star because they are rather finicky to install. Took 3 of us to hold up the screen. And attach just so, so the magnets would work properly. The height from the ground is crucial to. The carport opening for me was an odd size. So we had to roll up the top a few twists to get it to work. The bottom has to be just a wee distance from the ground surface, not touching. They do a great job of keeping out bugs, and birds! The magnets are not as strong as I was expecting. I good gust of wind blows them apart, and 95% of the time, they'll snap back together.

The screen came ,as stated, 9 feet across - which is exactly the size of the open of my garage. Which meant I had to come up with some creative ways to "shorten" that distance which included pocket holing some timber to my garage opening. The screen has taken a lot of abuse in the past few weeks and works extremely well. However, I would highly recommend buying furniture tacks as the ones that come with the screen are short and break easily. Once i used furniture tacks, the screen stayed in place and closes like a charm. One last thing. Make sure you opt out of getting any emails from them. The company has emailed me at least once a day, at first to beg me to review the screen, then to buy more items. If anything, the emails have turned me away from buying stuff from them.

Second time I have ordered this product. It is by far the strongest and best quality mesh I have used. The installation is easy. I am not using this for my garage door but instead as a curtain on 3 sides of my covered deck (16x20). I had this version on the front of the desk where the pets are continuously going in and out as well as the humans and it is 3 years old and as good as new. I had cheaper versions from local hardware store on my 2 other sides and they fell apart and tore after being up one year. I ordered 2 replacements of this and installed this weekend and they are the same quality as the original. Magnets are strong and work very well. The screening is up 365 days in temperatures of -40 Celsius to +40 Celsius in wind and snow. One of the few products that I would not hesitate to give 5 stars to or recommend to anyone.

The product is great, I had to order a second one because my first order was too short. Now I have the one I needed and it's great. It also helps keep the weather (rain) from taking over my space which is important with the recent storms we have had.

One of the simplest & best products I’ve ever purchased. Not to hard to set up and does EXACTLY as designed. Been up 2years now and no signs of wear or tear.

Needed an odd sized screen for a garage door. This one was the cheapest I could find. It works super well and I have been very pleased with the product. The flies are kept out and I can get a breeze into the garage during the summer while working. The adhesive velcro is so-so and doesnt attach well to certain surfaces.

I finally put this up tonight and I couldn't be happier with it. I decided to put it on the outside of my garage door so that I could still close my door without taking the screen off. I was really not expecting the perfect fit. I kept putting it up and getting surprised. The magnetic opening works like a charm. I only have a difficulty if the bottom catches on the concrete pad of my garage, but it only takes a little nudge with my foot to shift the screen bottom off the concrete and it zips closed perfectly - not even close to a deal breaker.I have watched DIY videos of how to make my own screen like this. I am glad I did this instead as the price here is comparable to what I would have spent making it on my own. Sorry, I know I sound like a salesperson for this company, but I really am not. I was just very pleasantly surprised this evening. I wish I would have gotten this sooner.FYI, my garage door flashing where I attached the velcro to is almost exactly 9 feet as shown in the picture.

This magnetic garage door screen was a 100% success, moments after hanging it...I noticed 2 insects on the outside of my garage blocked by the screen! I did not use the adhesive/Velcro that came with the screen. I chose to use a staple gun. My garage door measured 16'1" wide x 6'11" however I had some extra room to adjust the height and width with the wood trim on the sides and above the outside of the garage door. The magnetic screen was wider and longer than the measurements I listed. I manually with my hands spread out the 3 lead weights on the bottom section of each screen, one on each side, and one in the middle . I dont know how long the screen will last. I had success because I read the other reviews before installing the magnetic screen door. The weather was windy the past several days and the screen blew a little bit when the garage door was open, however the magnets held together during the gusts. If you are comparing this magnetic garage door screen to a solid screen door($1500), you will be disappointed. I noticed a lot of complainers in the reviews on this magnetic screen door, they must have had unrealistic expectations.

I spent more time than I care to admit shopping for a screen door for my single car garage. I don't use the garage for my car but as a workshop so I need a screen that is durable and this one fit the bill. It fit perfectly in my 8X7 opening and it appears to be very well made. I can't attest to the durability of it yet but gave it 5 stars because of it's construction. I've seen comparable screens in the big box stores at 3 times the price and this was well worth the price I paid.

As advertised, the mesh is fairly heavy and expected to last many Summers. While the velcro is good quality and the adhesive fairly strong, I would still recommend using small nails every 12 inches or so the top. I think over time the velcro adhesive on the top will weaken simply from time and the weight of the screen. In the middle of the screen is a slit for going in and out with magnets to auto close the screens. This actually worked quite well, above and beyond expectations. They do close pretty automaticly. Would recommend this product, especially at the very reasonable price being sold at.

Some things to keep in mind based on my experience:First, be sure to measure your garage opening carefully or you may be unable to properly attach this screen. The screen measures exactly 7x8 feet but that includes a 3/4 inch border at the top and sides where it must stick to the Velcro tape. If your garage opening is also exactly 7x8 feet (like mine) you need an inner frame in order to stick the Velcro. Otherwise the screen must defy gravity and float in midair. Fortunately I do have a narrow inner wood frame just outside the garage door but if the screen were slightly larger, it could be easily fastened to the outer frame instead.Second, the supplied Velcro tape adhesive is weak and didn't stick well to the wood frame so I kept having to press it in place. I eventually bought a heavy duty exterior Velcro tape to support the screen.Third, the pushpins provided were basically useless. They have plastic caps and thin pins. it was difficult to press the pins into solid hardwood so I tried tapping them in with a hammer and of course the plastic caps broke and the pins bent. I wound up using nails to further secure the Velcro.Fourth, the screen is not heavily weighted and the bottom keeps flapping in the breeze so flying insects can still get in if they put their tiny minds to it. And although the magnetic closure works well, a good gust of wind can blow it open.To recap, I would have appreciated more generous sizing, heavy duty Velcro, metal pins or tacks, and additional weight. I was expecting more from one of the top rated and higher priced screens of this type, especially better quality materials. However, after the modifications, the screen generally serves the purpose and I am able to drive through the screen so I don't have to remove it when using the car. Here's a wild idea: How about an accessory at the garage door bottom permitting a screen to operate like a window shade so you could roll it up or down as desired, eliminating the need for Velcro tape, pushpins and magnets. Just a thought.

April 2020. This'll be my second year using this screen. The velcro stayed attached all winter for the most part. Before reattaching the screen I used a staple gun to tack the corners for some added strength which worked fine. Them I attached the screen in under 30 minutes and we're all set for another mosquito Free year.Original Review 2019=================For the money this screen door is excellent quality! The Velcro tape adhesive is very good, the seams are well sewn, the mesh is high quality and it looks like it'll last for years. It took some adjusting to get the door to close and I have to coax it a little too get it started but then it falls right into place. My door opening is exactly 17' across and there's a 5/8" 1"x3" board that runs inside the frame that I stuck the Velcro to so the outside edges of the Velcro are exactly 17 get apart. When I attached the screen it was too taut and it wouldn't close at all so I cheated a bit around the edges so that the screen only overlaps the Velcro by 1/4". This allowed the door to close so I affixed 7 of the supplied tacks to the corners and the top and so far it is working fine. If it blows off during a windstorm I'll update this review! In conclusion, it feels to me that the screen should be an inch wider for it to hang loose enough for the door to close while ensuring that the Velcro hooks and loops fully overlap. I considered adding an additional 1"x3" board around the inside of the door frame which would have worked but decided to see how the screen holds up with just a quarter inch overlap. It may also be that the mesh needs too stretch out a little after having been folded in a box. We'll see. It is an excellent quality product however, and I love having a bug free garage, especially now that we're into blackfly season.
