How did you come up with the idea for this product?

Shaun has been riding bikes his whole life. Helmets used to be lame. Over time, they have gotten a bit cooler, but there was work to be done. Prototyping began at the end of 2019 and production began in Ohio at the beginning of 2021. We went with a magnetic attachment because it allows the customer to swap it out and to spin it around to change the look. In addition, it's designed to pop off in the event of a wipe out. Safety.

What makes your product special?

Our MagNeatOhz product line has patent pending technology that allows you to swap out the Flair with your friends or with your mood. We are based in Boulder, CO and manufacture our product in Ohio. Because of this, our support for Helmet Flair is awesome. The product itself is durable and has clean lines due to the hard work to make the highest quality molds for our designs. Check out our Softeez product line for a squishy peel and stick option.

What has been the best part of your experience?

The best part about running Helmet Flair is seeing how our customers express themselves with our products. Our mission is to increase helmet use by making them awesome. Adding joy and self-expression to helmets gets people stoked about a safety device. That feels amazing.

  • We are proud to be made in the USA. Specifically, our MagNeatOhz are manufactured just north of Dayton OH.

  • One of the great things about buying from a US based company is our excellent support. If you have any issue at all (even if you just lose one of your horns), reach out and we will be happy to help out.

  • Totally. We use the same adhesive as a GoPro mount. Just pry it off and if there is any residue, use a citrus cleaner to polish it up.

  • Absolutely. That's one of the coolest things about them. You can swap them with your friends or with your mood.

  • Our customers have tested our Large Horns up to 100 mph and our Small Horns up to 150 mph. If you are super worried, you can always grab a set of speed tabs from our site. Easy peasy.

Couldn’t be happier! Easy installation, they have stayed on the helmet with ease while going 100+ mph, VERY durable, altogether I love them, people think they’re so cool and it adds a bit of personality to a helmet, get them!

2 days late,Chipped paint rite from package, and base fell out before I could mount to my helmet.Update:contacted seller and he offered a refund which I did not accept. We talk it over and they replaced broken horn and sent extra set. So I will fix the rating to reflect the customer support. Now to get back on the ski hills.

These small devil horns are a fun and creative way to add personality to a helmet. The magnetic attachment makes them easy to place and remove, which is a nice touch. However, the magnets don’t feel as strong as I’d like, especially at higher speeds, which makes me worried they might fall off. The design is cool, but the overall durability could be improved. They’re a good accessory for casual use but may not hold up well for intense rides.

Love these on my helmet! The gold is bright and the magnet holds very strongly, so no need to worry about them flying off!

First I want to say these horns are absolutely amazing!!! They were easy to install and I can say I’ve put them to the test and they stayed on as they were designed too.On my way home within the first week of getting them, I was checking my helmet vent and I accidentally swiped one off. I cried. I contacted the company’s customer service department and they sent another out straight away. It came within a few day. I put the new one on the magnet and I was no longer a one-horned devil.Rain or high winds, these horns last!!!

These are a fantastic addition to my motorbike helmet! They look incredibly cool and they are secure and stable and haven't budged even at high speeds. I get lots of compliments on them. I only wish I could buy just the nubbins on Amazon so I could easily switch the horns between helmets!

I haven’t been able to test these out on the road yet but they look AMAZING!!! I’m very happy with how they look on my helmet and are exactly the look I was going for. So far the only issues I have with them is the paint chipped on one side when I was installing them. Thankfully it’s located on the back of the horn so it’s not noticeable from the front + side and only when looking at the back. I think I could just paint over the chipped part with some acrylics and it wouldn’t look too bad or be noticeable from anything but close up, just a little disappointed that they don’t have some sort of protective coating to prevent the chipping in the first place. Especially with the price point. They also seem to knock off pretty easily with a bit of pressure. Not sure how they’d hold up going Mach Jesus or on exceptionally windy days. The magnets seem to be pretty strong so I’m not sure but it is a concern since they have knocked off a few times already. That being said I do still love them a ton. They just look so good and I like that you can remove them and only leave the magnets on the helmet without it looking ugly (the magnets are small and thin enough that it doesn’t bother me whatsoever). Overall, pretty solid 4 stars. Though my opinion might change after bringing them out on the road.

I love the flair these add, it's a must!I however lost one due to it popping off at 45 mph. I guess the adhesive just gave out, I legit couldn't find it on the road either which is sad.I'd recommend these! But definitely glue it down if possible!I was hopping I could get a replacement pair? Or even just a single horn to replace the faulty one.

WARNING: These are NOT advised for high performance motorsports. They are very easily knocked off by minor bumps. They popped right off when getting in and out of our track car, and they were completely launched off by the roll cage SEVERAL times during our runs. When one of the horns flew into the drivers foot well mid turn, that's when I knew I was done with these things. NOT worth the risk. Not to mention the drivers "WTF was that" look. They even pop off when my helmet is upside down in my lap... which is a pain in the ars when you're already harnessed in.I did not test these on the motorcycle but I'm fairly certain these will also NOT withstand any high wind speed without becoming a projectile off your helmet. These are cute. I love the idea. But they are only for low impact sports, like bicycle riding, and other non-motorsport.Oh also, I had to order a second pair because the first was defective. SOoo yeah.Stay sendy,Shae
