$40 for 9 boosters. A dice, a nice box and a foul isn't bad. The set isn't the greatest but there are some lands that still have value in this set

I know no one really likes this set, but I pulled 4 surveil lands in my packs, so definitely made my money back!

I always get expansion fat packs to collect the D20 and lands. This set was just bad.

You now get 9 packs of Play Booster packs in place of the extra cardboard box tray/sorter. In place of the half box holder is NOTHING, they give you an oversized box stabilizer with the pop out tokens and a thin cardboard wedge to separate/hold the 2 land packs, 9 Play booster packs, and the dice. For the launch and current day price per Play pack, this is a HUGE upscale in price. You're paying 38% more per pack if you take the box and dice at anything above the $40 selling price. I have always enjoyed bundle packs, even March of the Machine: Aftermath I stomached, but to me the little things matter and I really like those little box inserts to hold and sort cards. Opening the packs usually yield fair to good cards but the 4 I opened were duds. If I take these cards and mix them with booster boxes, there's a clear distinction of which cards came from a booster box or bundle by looking at the spine (same with all the sets after Neon Dynasty). Card quality is not very good as there was a lot of top edge uplifting due to dull blades when cutting the cards or possibly packaging. This "new direction" doesn't bode well in my opinion in regards to cut backs in bundle box's packaging and price point. At current pricing, 3 bundle boxes is more expensive than one Play Booster box. That's 27 packs vs 36 packs. Unless you want the dice and box (without the little box tray/holder/sorter, buy singles!!! Avg price of rare and mythic cards minus top 5 are $1.50, buy what you like or need or wait until these drop below March of the Machine bundles. They didn't even offer Collector Bundles this time.

Gave this to my son. He had a great time opening all the packs. Said he got some pretty good cards in it, good variety and had fun going through it all.

Probably best to either age it like wine, or buy the singles that you want from it.It was extremely cheap by comparison though, so I can't complain too much.
