I purchased because my child needed something to wear under her long sleeve bathing suit top that was semi see through and no padding. This helped her feel more comfortable and worked perfectly. Definitely go a size up! They run smaller.

Very good quality swimsuit. Super comfortable. Fits well. Pretty, bright colors. My kids always ask for City Threads swimsuits because they are simply the best and most comfortable to wear. Long lasting. The colors don't fade.

Granddaughter usually wears around size 8 right now. But wears 1 size smaller for swimsuits. She is quite thin. She loved it. I wasn't sure about the design but thought it different and unique. She said she felt all the kids would come to see her at a public pool wearing it. Wasn't what I was looking for, but took that as her liking it. It is rather expensive, but happy with design, quality and fit.

I saw a lot of reviews that says they run big, but we didn't need to size up at all.We tried a few sizes on two daughters, and I found out they run a little big around the arms and fit under the chest.I just needed a basic bikini top which goes under a rash guard, as kid rash-guard sets usually don't come with a bikini top, but my children usually take a rash guard off right after swimming. It's hard to find only bikini tops selling for kids, so this is perfect.

I ordered a size 10 for my 11 year old and it was way too small. Luckily it fits my very small 8 year old. I will order another because my only issue is that it’s too small but I will order 2 sizes larger.

First of all, I love City Threads swimsuits. I've been buying the swim shorts for my daughter for years - the quality is excellent. The quality on this swim top is excellent too. However, like the other reviews say, you need to size up. I originally ordered 2 sizes larger based on other people's reviews. I thought it looked like it fit my 8 year old well, but she said it was way too tight. I exchanged it for a size 14 and my daughter said it's much more comfortable. It's a tiny bit big, but the straps don't fall down and it doesn't ride up, so it works for our purposes. It's so hard to find just the swim tops, so I'm glad City Threads offers these. I also love they come in so many great colors and that they're solids, not printed, so they can be worn with the swim shorts and rash guards we already have.

Bought this for my 8 yr old who’s in a size 8 (and usually that’s a little loose on her) this top was SO TINY it barley covered her! Would not buy this for children.... not appropriate at all
