Good replacement cylinders. Would buy again. The studs are a tad long and I had to saw 1/4" off for the main brake hose to clear.

Be prepared to put your project on hold while you wait for replacements. I don't know the exact terminology for the (brass?) threaded bolt inserted on brake cylinders, but I'm including a screenshot of the component to which I'm referring. The factory that keyed this hole and inserted this threaded bolt did not do a great job. The hole wasn't drilled deep enough into the cylinder. The hole also was not threaded far enough into the cylinder. There was insufficient threading in this hole to firmly insert this brass fitting, causing an easy strip-out when I tried to tighten this cylinder onto the brake disc. I had to order a replacement set, delaying my project.The lock spring metal is also very thin. I realize you should be able to rotate and adjust the adjuster nut, but this lock spring is basically useless. It doesn't stop anything. I've also attached a screenshot of that part.I'm not sure if it's because I'm using these in a 1994 Honda FourTrax 300fw or if these are just cheaply made, but I was anticipating my braking power get significantly better after replacing the pistons. They work, but it's not the huge improvement I was expecting.

I was only going to buy one pair for one side that didn’t work on the atv but this kit was the same cost for both sides. Turns out I needed both anyway, makes sense since they’re the same age and same crustiness. They worked great! Make sure tou know how to adjust old hydraulic drum brakes correctly or you’ll never get it right. You have to make them drag to bleed them. Great purchase!
