The brake line fittings are cast brass and break before the lines are seated. They are m10 1.0 pitch going into the caliper and 3/8 and 7/16 going to Polaris factory lines. These fittings and an adapter for the 7/16 of good brass fittings will cost to about $30 locally if you can find them.. then you’ll realize you’ll need to take the grinder to the caliper to fit properly or it’ll be wedged against the brake rotor..However after replacing all the fittings and grinding it to fit it did work.. but I can’t imagine for long as they used the cheapest components possible and I’m sure something else will fail.Avoid this one. Trash components on something our life depends on isn’t ok.

The body of this product works good on my Polaris in fits perfect however the fittings have all broken already after just a second use they are made of cheap brass. This is the second time I’ve bought this product in the bleeder screws field in the first one as well.

Before I bought the caliper & did some review lookingFound people having issues with bleeder screws breaking off brass fitting breaking & the mounting bosses that attach the caliper to the bracket has to be modified in certain applicationsI did go ahead and purchased oneI personally had no issues with the bleeder screws or brass fitting ( does not require 100 ft lbs of torque lolI did have to grind down the mounting boss holes slightly where it attaches to the caliper mount on my ATV a Polaris sportsman 335After doing that if fit great ,bled the brakes no leaks & stops greatConsiderable price difference from OEM parts great value for a little bit of tweaking the bracketwould buy again

The inner mount surface has to be filed down for proper fit on my 2000 Sportsman 500 4x4. OEM Polaris caliper was machined flush so I touched mine up with a Dremel die grinder. Simple installation after that. Brakes work great after I bled them. Make sure all those brass fittings are snug. Bleeder screws seem like they are not tight enough, but only snug them up otherwise you'll strip them out. Your tightening against brass not cast iron like an automobile.

It appears that the caliper i purchased will work but the fittings are junk both brass brake line fittings are bad 1 broke before getting tight enough to not leak and the other the threads stripped out, also before fitting was tight. I can not find a way to contac seller and when you look up there information they are from outside the USA and I am outside the Amazon 30 return window I hope I can go to local parts store and get fittings I read all the reviews for these products took a chance and lost on this one I did purchase another set of calipers for the front of my machine they seem to work so far the machine dont get a lot of use we shall see
