The Luney Fuel Injector Tester and Cleaner Tool Kit is a great investment for anyone looking to clean and test fuel injectors efficiently. It’s well-built, easy to use, and gets the job done without the need for expensive professional services. The cleaning process is straightforward, and the kit includes all the necessary adapters to fit various injectors. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the instructions could be clearer, especially for first-time users. I had to watch a few online videos to fully understand the setup. Also, the pressure gauge could be a bit more precise.Overall, this is a great value tool that works well once you get the hang of it. If you’re comfortable with a bit of trial and error, it’s definitely worth buying!

great tool that i didn't know i needed! i used it to clean the injectors out of my car. it was easy to hook up the wires to the injector and the tester worked to activate them. i used a bottle of aerosol intake cleaner from the parts store that kinda fit one of the adapters, but it leaked a fair bit. running the test cycle, i saw the pattern improve a bit.all in all it was pretty quick and easy to use, but i had trouble finding an can of cleaner that fit the adapter properly.

We got this to be able to diagnose injector problems and it works great. You can test the injectors one at a time to help locate fuel delivery problems like leaking or burned out. It works perfect for what I need.

While getting to the injectors on every vehicle isn't always easy, like on my 04 V6 Ford, having an easy tool to use to not only test, but simply open the injector for cleaning is great. It's nice to have something to rule out a problem, instead of just changing a part and hoping, and this does just that!I like that it fits a wide range of injectors, from my Motorcycle to all 3 of the passenger vehicles I have (an inline 4 Yamaha, a V6 Ford, a V6 Suzuki, and a V8 Ford from the 80's) with little to no issues. As I said makes for quick cleaning, and diagnostics. The unit feels like it's built well enough, and should last a while, especially since I won't use it too often and it has worked great so far.Overall I think this would be a great addition to any DIY toolkit.

This is not a tool you need to use very often it is a great addition for the do-it-yourself person to add to the toolbox when most of the cars now a days have fuel injection. I have not had to use it yet but when this arrived, I noticed that it appears to be sturdy and well-built so it should last awhile. My only concern is the wires do look like they are a little short, but I think we can find a way to work with that so that we will not have a huge bill from the shop, I feel like this is going to very worth the money.

The only issue is I wish the leads were a little longer so it did not have to be in my hand because not enough wire to set somewhere. Reads perfect and let me know that there was an issue with one of the injectors. Great price and value

I have had to deal with contaminated fuel from marinas now several times. It causes all manner of problems and there is next to no way to prove fault. All you can do is repair the damage. Most of the time it's the filters, pre-filters etc that are affected. If things get really bad, it can also work its way to your injectors. Water damage is particularly nasty as it causes rust and flows through filters unless caught in time.Having had to clean all the infectors on an outboard motor induced by such salt water damage in the fuel, I had to use a DC power supply to drive the injectors. Not so bad when you are at home, but sometimes it happens on the water too. This is now part of my tool kit on the boat. Being a liveaboard sailboat means I need to be self sufficient on the water as I may not be anywhere near land. This little device will drive the infectors safely to clean them. If you are desperate, you can go direct to the battery but you also run the risk of destroying the injector.I found blowing the injector backwards to be far more beneficial than forwards. Just make sure the surfaces are clean and use a spray can of cleaner pressed up against the output of the injector. Beware the small fine wire filter may pop out. Usually it doesn't.This injector tester provides all you need to do the job safely and easily. Worked for me and now is a boat tool so I can do it anytime I need to.
