All Lug-All come along winch hoists are equipped with overload protection to protect you and your hoist when it is loaded over its maximum capacity. For this reason, when the load on a 4000-20 or 420-R hoist is significantly higher than its maximum capacity (25 to 50 percent over the rated capacity), the steel handle will bend. It's vital that you replace your winch hoist handle as soon as it bends to maintain the safety and function of your Lug-All come along.
The 198-ENG reversible replacement handle is compatible with the 4000-20 and 420-R cable winch hoists. You can install your replacement handle in three easy steps:
- Unscrew the wing nut from the U-frame of your cable hoist and remove the broken handle.
- Place your new reversible handle in line with the U-frame's shafts and bolt.
- Replace the wing nut and twist it by hand to secure the handle in place.
All Lug-All come along winch hoists have reversible handles to provide better leverage for lifting or pulling and lowering or backing off loads in confined areas. This hoist handle weighs 2.157 pounds to keep the overall weight of your come along as light as possible.
When your come along winch hoist is complete with a replacement handle, it can operate at its standard capacity. The 30-inch length provides excellent leverage, and the textured grip allows you to maintain a firm grasp during operation. Use your complete assembly for:
