So much fun! I know Spanish BUT this would be easy to figure out how to say it by having google say the words for you. We played this for our homeschool Spanish class. I would tell the kids how to say it, they would repeat it and we'd say what it meant in English. After a bit, I also explained how to change singular forms of the word on the card into plural and anybody who had that on their Loteria card would have to change the singular to plural. We also discussed pronunciation as we went (ie. roll the double r, j makes an h sound, h is silent, etc.) This would be good for anybody learning Spanish or just anybody who wants to play Bingo. It would be helpful to go over how to say each letter before you start if you don't know how but, as I said, Google or a pronunciation site would be just fine to help on the pronunciation. My daughter just suggested (and I agree) that we'd love for them to produce different series of these with more words (ie. this would be volume 1, volume 2 would have more vocab, etc.). This is something that I'll use for our Spanish classes for a while until they've mastered the vocabulary. Another thing to note, this is great to help you practice the gender of items. My daughter gets frustrated with knowing if things are "el" or "la" and I tell her the only way to know what they are is to practice and this is great practice for that as well.

Excellent game with both words and fun pictures so it can be played even by non readers. We tend to have a large group so I may have to order another set.

This is a fun game called Loteria and is similar to bingo, but in Spanish. This is very effective in teaching kids basic started Spanish words, and they learn quickly because it's fun. After playing a few times, the words start to stick in their minds, similar to flash cards. This set comes with a bag of red plastic coins, that you use to cover each space. It comes with. Big set of game cards that have a front and back, so you can pick and choose different game cards each time. It also comes with a set of cards that have pictures and Spanish words on each. Each game card has 16 spaces and when you are the first with a full card, you yell "Loteria!" It's a little Mexican culture mixed with a fun game, and I highly recommend this! It's a great family game that's great for little kids to join in as well as adults.

Fun concept but lacking quality. The cards are colorful and great for learning Spanish, but the material is thin and bends easily. Some images could be clearer. Good for casual play, but not the most durable set.

This is a very good set of bingo cards with common words in Spanish. I don’t doubt that it was designed for children, but I’m using it with adult learners who enjoy a game now and then. I use it not only as a bingo game, but as a way to practice grouping nouns by subject (fruits, vegetables, etc) and also using words in sentences.

I ordered this Spanish bingo game to complement our homeschool Spanish curriculum. This game includes 10 double sided bingo cards, 100 red markers, and 54 cards. The bingo cards are a thin, sturdy cardboard. The images are easily recognizable and the words are legible. I do like that the cards show both the image and the word so younger pre-readers can still play along. Overall, a fun game for extra practice of Spanish vocab words.
