  • Black - 0 degree, Red - 4.5 degree

Look 6007195300 Delta Bi Material Cleat - Black is a look that is often copied for cleats, but never equaled. The Look standard and its three holes is the market reference. Furthermore, the shoes themselves are only delivered with the three holes, which ensures the best stability. The Delta shaped cleat functions by a rotating movement which allows for disengagement equally from the inside or the outside of the foot. Possible disengagement of the two sides improves safety. Neither obstacle nor bearing hinders nucleating towards the inside. The new Teflon compound (white material) further facilitates engagement or disengagement while considerably reducing the possibility of parasite noises.

I needed some new cleats for some old (circa 1990) DuraAce clipless pedals. It took some research, but I discovered that the Look Delta cleats were compatible. Saved me from having to buy new pedals!

They are the cleats that fit my Look pedals. Amazon's price was good and free shipping on Prime was a plus.

These cleats work better on Look Delta pedals than off brand ones, and they last longer.

I recently acquired a bike with Look pedals and decided to dust off my ancient cleated shoes and try them again. The cleats I had were last changed c.2000, and while they still worked, they did not inspire confidence. Oddly enough, the soles of my shoes were a bigger concern - I wound up having to superglue them back into place as they both popped loose from the rear edge of the cleat to the heel! The new cleats arrived quickly and went on without a hitch. The hardware is nicer, using an allen key rather than a flat head screwdriver, and the cleat itself feels more substantial. I noted the laminated surfaces and so far have been delighted by the much more solid contact these give me.I have used them so far with a vintage 1st generation set of white Look pedals and look forward to trying them out on a couple of sets of later pedals I have kicking around.

This is my first time using black, Look Delta cleats as I have always used the red ones, which may have been by another manufacturer. I tested these on a bike trainer, but I bought them primarily for the road. The cleats clicked into the pedals with ease and more importantly when I was ready to click out of the pedals, I was able to quickly click out. Very satisfied with this product and prompt delivery.

Quand on voit le prix chez les vélocistes le choix est vite fait et si l'on adjoint des protèges cales Look elles deviennent inusables...

Great cleats! I chose the black type since I prefer no "play" of foot position in the bindings while cycling - yet the cleats pop out quickly and smoothly with an easy inward turn of each ankle when I stop. I can only give the product four stars because of the screw issue. As others have noted, the screws provided were too short - at least for the holes of my 25-year old Diadora cycling shoes. Only four of my old screws were servicable - but I found, among the thousands of miscellaneous hardware items collected by my husband over the years, two compatible screws that I rigged with additional washers for a strong, tight attachment of each cleat. Those who are not lucky enough to live with a screw hoarder would be ... well, ... (guess!)

I am writing this review because at this time, there is only one other review, and it incorrectly refers to this as a Keo cleat. It is not a Keo cleat. It is a Look Delta cleat.Specifically, this is as pictured, a red Look Delta cleat with teflon at the toe, and the rear release area. This RED version is color-coded to indicate the greater 12-degrees of float compared to the Look BLACK cleats, which do not offer as great of a float (they allow 5 degrees, I believe). The "float" is the amount of movement the cleat is designed to allow (imaging your heel moving in and out freely through 12 degrees of a 360-degree circle) without releasing from the pedal. The amount of free movement is called the "degrees of float." It is my understanding that a greater float allows for a less-precise install without causing knee damage, or it allows for a greater range of less-than-perfect knee anatomy without physically stressing the knee in a manner that can lead to repetitive joint damage. So I have always used these 12-degree red cleats instead of the narrower range black ones. You still want to be careful how you install them on your shoe so that during your pedal rotation you are within the 12 degrees of movement. It is now winter with snow on the ground, and I'm not riding. Come spring, I will try to update this review to answer the question of whether or not the more expensive version of the cleats with the Teflon are worth the money.
