Better than most! Has some of the most sticky feature I have seen, but not fool proof. My old dog’s paws still slip due to there being slippery sock in between the sticky and still slips. The key is to not have the sock part exposed to the hardwoods at all. Meaning no slippery sock part should touch the slick floor. Make the entire foot pad sticky. No slippery sock in between the sticky and you’ll have a better, more functional product.

My dog was able to remove these socks, so they worked as a distraction from licking until she pried them off. Great idea if your dog allows it.

These dog booties work very well as long as I keep my dog in sight. He knows how to pull it off even with the Velcro. Our dog has a hot spot on his foot so we have been trying to keep it covered and these work very well.

Beautiful socks but unfortunately the Velcro snapped off on the first day and I really liked them and they fit my dog perfectly ..in my opinion the Velcro would do better if it was sewn into the sock instead of being glued.

Got these for my 16yr old Pekingese as he was slipping on our new laminate floors. He wasn't crazy about getting them on, but is used to them now. These are very neat and well made, especially compared to the ones we bought at a big pet supply store;

These are wonderful. We love that the gripping is on top and bottom. We all know socks move. These always have traction. It is awesome they have velcro you can fold the top of the sock over to help prevent velcro chewing.

They go on (not super easy, but not hard either) and stay on. These are perfect for keeping my dog from licking his paws

I recently moved into a condo with sealed concrete floors and never even considered that my 12 year old Sheltie would have a problem with the floors! She’s had bilateral knee replacements in the back so doesn’t have great muscle strength and just cannot keep her legs under her. So socks are now in her every day routine! These work, but they do not have the gripper pattern all the way around the foot so when it twists (which they always do) she will slip again until I adjust them again. I haven’t been able to find any with the grippers all the way around other than the dipped socks which are really uncomfortable looking so hopefully the seller will read this and make some! The lack of gripper all the way around is the only reason I gave them four stars. Otherwise they are great!
