This Lomon jacket in green is a really nice looking coat. It’s the type of jacket you could grab on your way out the door to go just about anywhere. I’m not sure I’d wear it for active use though. To me it seems like more of a rain coat. The material is light, as advertised, but it’s also loud. It makes a lot of noise as you’re walking. The hood is super big. I had to roll up, what I guess I’ll call the bill, at the front of the hood a couple times to avoid it covering the whole top half of my face—otherwise, I wouldn’t even be able to see. When wearing a heavy T-shirt underneath, I could feel cold air on my back. It’s currently 46 degrees outside. I think I’d get pretty cold if I were to wear it for an extended length of time without an additional layer underneath. That said, there’s plenty of room for additional layers. It fits way looser than the listing photos show—at least on me it did. And I’m not skinny. It was pretty baggy around the middle. For that reason alone, I’d probably grab a different jacket, just because this one doesn’t look as good on me. The pockets are sufficient; the hand pockets are large and extend all the way down to the hem of the jacket, and there’s a breast pocket that can hold my phone or glasses.Overall, a nice jacket, but probably not the first I’d grab. What I reviewed:LOMON Lightweight Active Rain Jacket Hooded Water Resistant Raincoat Windbreaker Jacket Casual Softshell

Good looking lightweight jacket in a nice attractive colour. Very light and easy to pack away but does the job when caught in a shower. Looks good and performs well.

Lightweight (not lined), packable for travel, comfortable rain jacket. Haven't worn it during a sustained heavy downpour. Nice for spring/summer pop-up showers or a warm but windy day. Looks good too!

I seldom leave review, because I’m lazy. But with this jacket I am pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. It seems very well made and the size is a perfect fit. It was completely as described and I am grateful that Lomon has made such a great, lightweight rain coat. I love it so much I’ve been wearing it as a light jacket when it’s not even raining.

This is a nice light rain/wind jacket. The sizing is pretty accurate. I typically wear a L/XL reading their size guide I opted for the L and it fits well. Normally I'd size up. But this is roomy enough that there's no need to. I chose the purple color and it matches the photo maybe a slightly more blue hue to it in person. Which I perfer. The pockets are generous. I believe there's 3 official pockets. But you could use the inside where the pockets are as well as additional pockets. So essentially 5 pockets. The material is thin. But feel sturdy. Like if you brushed up against a tree it wouldn't rip. It comes with a little bag. I guess to roll your jacket up into it? I'm not sure. I'm not going to use the bag for that. But I suppose it's nice they include it. It's made from the same material so you could protect something else from the elements.

Nice and lightweight, well-sewn, and fairly priced (£20 at the time of review). Perfect to keep in the car for unpredictable weather. I’d recommend sizing up just in case you put it over something else .The only downside I've found is that is a bit smelly, kept it in the garden one day and now seems better

I ordered this jacket after searching for one with all the features that I wanted, which included 3 zipper pockets, draw strings, and a hood for a low price point. I am so pleased with this purchase. The jacket is lightweight and constructed quite well.

The is a pretty excellent rain shell at this pricepoint. It is excellent option if your looking for something lightweight and packs down small. Water resistance is good and wind resistance is great.Fit and finish is good. The seams appear solid and there aren't a bunch of exposed holes or joints that would allow for water ingress.Sizing is reasonably close to expected. It's enough for it to be an actual jacket and be worn over some clothes. The color is also very close to "as pictured" which is always appreciated.Zippers work and the reflective stripes on the sides are nice touch. The breast pocket fits a phone, but I don't think it's going to fit any "ultra" or oversized phone with a case on it.Honestly, I don't think you're going to find a better shell at around the $20 mark. It fits well, it sheds the rain, and it looks pretty good.Do reccomend!

I received this lightweight rain jacket through the Vine program and am genuinely pleased with it. The material feels durable, and after testing it with running water, I can confirm it's effectively waterproof. The large size (I'm a UK 14/16) fits comfortably, with good length coverage. I especially appreciate the generous, adjustable hood and the deep, zipped pockets. While the chest pocket is a bit snug for my phone, the side pockets are ample. It's incredibly lightweight and packs down small, making it ideal for travel. For £20.99, it's excellent value. The elasticated cuffs and adjustable hem provide a good fit. While there's no internal lining, the overall quality is impressive. I recommend this jacket for anyone needing a reliable, packable rain solution

I got this Lomon Fashion Lightweight Active Rain Jacket in green, size medium. My daughter has been using it as it is a perfect fit for her.The jacket feels as well made as you would expect for something in this price range. It is clearly designed and manufactured as an occasional use jacket that is useful to stow away and have handy for times that you may get caught out by a rain shower. Handily enough, it does stow away inside an included pouch. It is described as 'water resistant' which is a fair enough description with being over-committal on its performance in that area. The jacket does demonstrate that it performs well when faced with light showers, however it does struggle to keep water out when faced with heavier or torrential rain but that's where the top end of the market come in, with all of the waterproofing features like coated outer shells and internally taped seams. It is unrealistic to expect that from a jacket that is as inexpensive as this so it is good that the description does not allude to any of those features. In use, my daughter found that it works well in showers and provides an element of wind break and as an additional layer when required. It has good pockets that zip up for security if required and toggle adjustments on both the hood and bottom of the jacket that allow for a good fit.It is a good, convenient jacket that provides usefulness.

This product is basically exactly as advertised, and a good value (possibly an excellent one if it stays below thirty dollars, as it was when I ordered). I got it in the wine red, which is a rich color accented with grey piping that matches the product pictures. This is indeed water resistant, and I think thoughtfully designed: there are waterproof flaps over the zippers, it has elastic goring at the wrists, a high zippered neck with drawstrings, and drawstring at the bottom hand to cinch closed against rain. The hood is moderately deep; I could put it up over a ponytail. This is water resistant, but not waterproof (which again, is as advertised), as the seams are not sealed from the inside, and there’s no waterproof inner liner. If you wore this in pouring rain, eventually it would soak through. In light drizzle or for quick showers, this remains a great, packable, lightweight, and low cost option.I am 5’4”and normally a size 14, with a large bust and apple tummy and a short torso (lucky me, I know). I got this in a size large and it fell to mid thigh on me and was still quite roomy (easily layered sweaters beneath) without feeling bulky.

I was delighted to be able to choose this from the Vine programme and am pleased with the quality and fit.I have not yet tested out the waterproof claims but, to be honest, the material is similar to but thicker than an ancient kagoul I used to own and I have no doubt this will keep one dry in the rain. The quality is good, it's a good length, I am 5' 3 1/2" and have the Large (I am a size 14/16) sits below my rear end and just at the top of my thighs. It's extremely lightweight so perfect for packing up and taking on holiday in readiness for a sudden rain shower. It has it's own little bag for storage.I love the hood - it's a bit on the large side but can easily be folded over but, it's the sort of hood that really keeps your hair dry and the front zip draws up right to your chin.Lots of zip pockets save for the one at the top is too small for my phone (and I don't have a large phone) which does fit into one of the two lower and deep zip pockets. There are elastic drawstrings on the hood and along the bottom for a tighter fit, elasticated cuffs. It's not lined or, finished off on the inside but, for the price this could be expected. For me, the only downside is that the large is a little large albeit my husband thinks it looks just fine and, it is good for if I wear something bulky underneath it.For the price currently £20.99 for a portable, lightweight rain jacket - I can recommend it. PS I had the navy blue and it's a good colour for the summer with jeans etc.
