Used the size chart and the small fit perfectly and the shirt is exactly as described. Only gave it 4 stars because it won't be worn until my March vacation; however, from the feel and quality of this shirt (which is excellent) I'm confident it will do as described.

Man - I'm loving this shirt! Outside it's light and protective, easy to move in. The fit is nice - the "amazon" recommendation was small but I tend to be right on that line between small and medium so I got a medium. Probably could have worn a small just fine but the fit of the shirt is such that it works as a medium too. It's a flattering fit but comfy. The material is soft and light - breathable. I even used it on a cool day out on the boat (after skiing). It kept the wind from being too cold but wasn't smothering.Inside, when I'm just sitting at my desk working and the air vent is blowing on me, I put on the shirt over my tank and it was just enough to keep me from getting chilled but again wasn't smothering.

I went out fishing in the ocean yesterday and needed a lightweight shirt to keep the sun off of my arms. It was a hot day. This shirt was lightweight, breathable and comfortable and did not add any bulk or make me hotter than I already was. The material dried quickly when it became wet due to salt water splashing from the boat wake. Fit was excellent, I felt like it was definitely true to size. I did not button it all the way up but I would have not had any trouble buttoning and I have a 34D bust and am athletic build, 5'03, 140lbs.Overall this would be a great shirt for anyone looking to keep the sun off without getting hot. It is great for hiking, fishing or any outdoor activity. I decided on this blue color because the back panel was the closest to the shirt color. I was not a fan of how some of the other shirt options were two toned. This one looked the most high end of the options available and in person it looks just as good.

This shirt is more or less as pictured (the color - "Blue Moon" - is richer and prettier in person) and has some nice features. It's well made and the sleeves are long enough for me. (The struggle is real!) The body is a bit wide on me but not shapeless as it's designed for women. For reference, I'm 5'8", 110 lbs., 34-36 A+ bust, 27" waist, 36" hips and - ironically, I don't know my sleeve length but it's probably 24". The fabric feels nice against my skin but is treated with a chemical that will hopefully wash out—it's probably just sizing (starch) that is applied to any number of things (i.e. fabric shower curtains). I can actually taste it without having touched my mouth after handling the item. Weird but true. Anyway, there's a lot to like about this top. The chest pockets are big enough to hold at least a large smartphone. The zipper is high-quality and has a little plastic or rubber pull, and there's a small pocket on the left upper arm for...not sure, but it's reinforced. Again, it's a well-made garment down to the details. The lighter weight, lighter color back looks cool and is ventilated. Once I've washed the sizing out of this shirt I think I'll get a lot of wear out of it. It's designed to last and worth the current price of $38.99.

Edited 8/17/2023: I wore this shirt while riding a bike on a warm and sunny, but windy day and it was very comfortable and not hot at all. I'm sure the wind was the key with the perforated fabric, but a regular long-sleeved shirt would have been hot.After carefully measuring according to the sizing chart, I ordered the small size grey shirt and I’m glad I did. It fits my shoulders and torso very well. I wish the sleeves were shorter and narrower, especially where they seem extra-wide at the shoulder, though this may be by design to increase airflow. In my photos, I have the cuff doubled; unbuttoned, the cuff covers my hand to the fingers. The fabric feels a little stiff out of the package but feels soft after a wash. The fabric is well-perforated with tiny holes. You can hold a single layer of the shirt up to a window and see through it easily; however, I put on a darkly colored undergarment to see if it was visible when I wore the shirt and I could not see it. The different colored panel in the back is both stretchy and perforated. This aids in the shirt’s comfort as it doesn’t bind when you are active.I bought this to use as sun protection, so I tried it while working in the garden in full sun. It rejected the heat of the sun on my back better than a dark t-shirt because it is lighter colored and looser. It was surprisingly comfortable while I was standing still in the low 80F’s, but I did work up a sweat when I was more active – it is a long-sleeve shirt, after all. The perforations will probably feel good if there is a breeze. I believe the shirt will serve its purpose, providing both sun protection and protection from bugs while keeping me cooler than a regular long-sleeved shirt would. It seems like a good paddling or fishing shirt given its collar, stretch, and likelihood that breezes will pass through it, and it is not bad looking for a shirt of this type.

This is a great shirt! It’s just the right weight to use while hiking. It packs well for travel and doesn’t wrinkle! A good buy!

The Little Donkey Andy Women's UPF 50+ UV Protection Breathable Long Sleeve Hiking/Fishing shirt has become my favorite fishing shirt. It's very light weight, soft and comfortable even on extremely hot days and the UV protection it affords is wonderful. I really like the fit and comfort of this top and the blue color is my favorite. The pockets are very useful and the back vent really is nice on the hottest days. It can be machine washed and dried and is ready to wear right out of the dryer. I'm very happy with the Little Donkey Andy Women's UPF 50+ UV Protection Breathable Long Sleeve shirt and consider it an excellent value in women's outdoor apparel!
