For one, the male plug is black just like the female on the board it's meant to attach to, unlike the contrasting white plug on a Sony battery that makes it much easier to correctly line up the connection.For two, the plastic they use is much softer and weaker compared to stock. The OE connection can be plugged in with the simple press of a fingertip, no fuss, whereas this one requires great care and delicate tools to properly insert it without breakage. If you have neither, then you end up what's shown in the picture, where the plug split lengthwise and was rendered totally useless. Sending it back for a replacement, but it's already not looking promising and I might have to just dog it and pay up for a real Sony battery.
