I have had such good results using this brush. Bristles do not shed and it holds just the right amount of glue in the ends of the bristles to accomplish my tasks without a mess. By keeping the glue in the ends of the bristles, it is a snap to clean and dry. I will definitely be buying more sizes and another so two of us can glue at the same time.

Worked great, didn't lose bristles and kept it's shape after use.

This is a great glue brush, but it is big. It’s meant for big projects. I use this for bookbinding and I would have liked a smaller brush. If your not careful a lot of glue could get into the base of the bristles. It’s a bit hard to keep the glue at the top of the bristles.

Works great for memo pad style padding. I've used it for about a dozen padding jobs (about 1000 sheets per job) and there's no signs of wear and tear on it yet. I haven't experienced any of the shedding I saw in on of the other reviews and am quite happy with it. I'm only giving it 4 stars because, while functional, this is not a product I would describe as "nice" or "well done". It's competently assembled and durable enough for its purpose those.

Much more useful than the cheap $1 paint brush I got at walmart to use for glue. It's easy to hold, and quickly covers surface areas up to 12"12". Haven't had the hairs falling out that some people are complaining about. Just need to make sure you wash after every use. Only complaint is it's round shape allows it to roll about the desk, but that's physics for you.

Works perfectly! Others have mentioned that the bristles clump together when wet; they do, but for padding purposes, it should never be THAT wet anyway... When cleaning the brush, if you dry the bristles well, they naturally fluff back out. Great brush for applying padding compound to up to about six 50 sheet pads.

I'm new to recovering books and was searching Amazon for the tools. I found this brush and only this brush. I'm surprised there are not more options or more brushes for this purpose. I was a bit worried based on some of the reviews stating the brush loses bristles.I like the brush. It isn't heavy or cumbersome, I can hold it no problems with my little hands. It applies the book binding glue evenly and smoothly. I've not experienced any bristles coming out. It cleans to like new condition. With just some warm water to rinse the glue from the brush it cleans completely and dries quick. The bristles are a bit ridged so when I set it in my container with the glue it doesn't bend over and end up laying in the glue. Overall, I think this brush is excellent and enjoy using it. Course, there are no others to choose from so if you don't like it I guess you'd have to go to your local home improvement store to buy brushes.

I bought this brush to pad about 2 dozen pads, each 100 sheets (about 5/8 thick). I am a hobby letterpress printer and I wanted to progress my skills to padding what I had printed. I used a "padding press" (Pad Magic) available elsewhere on the web to hold together the pads before padding plus the padding glue and this brush which I bought through Amazon. The glue and brush did a fantastic job. Worth the money.
