Got a Tikka hunter t3x in 308 with original recoil pad my shoulder will be in pain after 5 shots got the limbsaver installed and yesterday shot 60 rounds within 2 hours zeroing a red dot and it was a joy highly reccomend it Also looks really clean on the riffle like it was oem

Amazing results with the Limb Saver made on my Tikka CTR in .308. Without any pain in my shoulder, my 100 yard groups improved enough to have confidence to take this rifle hunting. Photo is of my 99 pound son in law shooting the same rifle without pain.

On this 6.5 creedmoor the recoil almost disappears completely. I love these air pocketed butt pads.

It's a must for a Tikka, but it sure seems like it was initially made for some other rifle and Limbsaver realized it would work on a Tikka then created packaging for it. Reason being is the Tikka Pad has a routered groove that centers it into/within the lip of the stock. It needs to do that to sit flush against the structure within the Tikka stock... The way this pad sits, it floats above all that base material, and only makes contact with the 1/16" plastic lip around the edge of the stock and is only held in place and kept from moving horizontal or vertical by the screws alone. Pretty poor design if it was made by Limbsaver specifically for the Tikka (which I just cannot imagine).All they needed to do was counter sink it like the factory one. I added some hard plastic material to the area between the pad and the guts of my stock just for piece of mind. Probably not a big deal, but I like things to fit correctly... and this doesn't.When it's a $400 rifle I'm less critical of those things, but it's on my $1400 rifle. I expected it to fit correctly!
