I have my trail cam set up where it has a clear view of the salt lick and I haven't seen the deer pay any attention to it. I've got one photo of a doe stopping to smell it but then walked right past.Not sure if it works.I gave it 3 stars for the costs, fast delivery but I've gotten zero evidence the deer has been licking it.

Nice product. It tastes a little weird but hey, what can you do. It is hard to chip it off for the salt shaker but I figured it out. Hahaha, kidding. It's a salt lick for deer. If deer feel like salt they come to it, if they don't they don't. I don 't expect it to bring in every deer that exists within a 400 mile area. It's a nice little add to help keep deer around for a minute.

It held up very well against the weather but the deer didnt touch it. I would watch them walk up to it and then walk away. Dont waste your money on it.

The back of our house faces woods and we see an occasional deer and fawn traveling along our property line. I wanted to try and attract a few more so I put this out. At first, nothing but a few days later we attracted a deer...then another and another. They not only licked the lick they began munching on my wife's Hosta and some other plants. This ticked her off and said for me to stop trying to attract deer as they were killing her plants. So, I guess I can report that it works...maybe too well.
