I hooked the key on a string to one of the mounting screws of the switch plate, so in an emergency it can quickly be turned off. (Works like a charm.) Not much of a chance the switch gets turned off by accident. Because it powers my water well pump.

If you have yard cameras thus switch is perfect. Not having to worry about the camera actually being turned off.

Exhaust fan would occasionally be switched off by accident. This solved the problem.

I have kids that play around with the bedroom light switch in the middle of the night. Thought this was a good idea in theory. Kept the key on a string outside the kid’s room with a child safety lock on the door. My older one snapped the key in half with the light off. Need to get a new key now.

We installed this after replacing our porch lights with hard wired ring camera. This replaced the regular switch so our teenagers could not turn the cameras off. Works great they have no idea there is a key or even what the key is. No more skipped footage! Easy to install as well

Just what I wanted, have a security light with camera on the switch, got tired of it getting turned off. The key is a little pathetic but it works. You must have it the correct angle to get in. Don't force it.

Quality product. I am a shop teacher and actually used these switches to turn the power for the machines on and off every day before I start class or leave for the day. The key was a little awkward to figure out how to fit it in the slot but, once I learned and did it a few times it's fine now. I actually like the fact that I needed to practice finding where/how the key fit, this way it would be difficult for someone I did not want to flip the switch to turn on the machines.
