We bought similar lights several years ago as scuba tank lights. The manufacturer no longer makes those and other lights require manual activation. These start blinking when they get wet and turn off when they are dry. Nice little case included.

These lit up as advertised when submerged and have so far been good for several trips in salt water without the battery dying or the leads corroding (I washed them in fresh water after each trip). I used these for halibut, sole, rockfish and lingcod and caught fish consistently.

Great price on these lights. They stobe in a vatiety of colors.I like that they come in a sturdy plastic case, makes it easy to keep them organizedIn your gear bag.
