I just placed the order for this instead of the less expensive ones they sell here. I talked to a Kim Mcgee at Covercraft and gave an email address and got sent application photos which showed me that I could have confidence in this. They have been reviews of different front end covers for our 2008 toyota prius base model that say if you cut out the rectangle for the license plate then the cover is not near as tought and they are sorry they did cut it out. I am not going to cut it our rather put it on and locate the license plate screw holes with a phillips head screw driver on cut them out on the vehicle. I will update later but for now I am happy I found this one. This brazier fits the 2006 Prius perfectly. I bought it only when the paint on the nosecone began to chip. It looks sharp, and provides decent protection from the common tiny pebbles. Putting it on was not too challenging for two of us.
