Remove Dirt
Using a soft horseahair brush, gently brush away surface dirt from the leather.

Spot Test
Always test an area first and follow specific manufacturer care instructions for your leather item.

Clean
Apply cleaner to clean, dry cloth not directly to the item. Wipe the entire surface in circular

Remove any excess
Use a clean cloth to remove excess cleaner and dirt.

Let dry
Allow to dry naturally, avoiding direct sunlight. Once dry, fluff nap with a clean, soft brush.

This did not work at all on my Nike Air Max shoes. They have a lot of suede and I was looking for something to clean them. It didn’t clear up the color it all, it might have made the dark spots worse. I’m so disappointed.

UPDATE - originally gave this three stars because I really didn't know how to use and I didn't feel like it worked that great however the company reached out to me and gave me a full refund without me even asking which I think deserves five star stars. In addition since found out Sue can be very tricky to clean and perhaps I could've tried harder. I ended up giving the purses and the wave cleaner to my niece who works with horses and probably would be better at working with suede or leather than me. I appreciate the company wanting to do right by me thus the five stars!Bought for some suede purses but I think there needs to be more thorough instructions because it didn't work very well and I ended up giving the purses (and the cleaner) away

I put before and after pictures, it cleaned out virtually all the dirt on the shoe. I might have to go in one more time but they look good. I used a microfiber towel and did what the instructions said. The shoes I used it with have a suede material.

I was working with a large piece of leather. This foaming cleaner was difficult because it immediately dissolved into the leather and was not spreadable. This made it easy to over apply, and damaged some areas I was trying to repair.It did not remove the discoloration anywhere. Color remained uneven.The bottle top (the entire thing, not the cap) opens upward. When I first got it and was trying to remove the plastic seal, the top came off and drenched me. Please fix.Would not recommend

My rough out boots were in need of refurbishing. In order to protect them a few years ago when I lived in midwest (with snow), I wore rubbers on them occasionally. This left black marks on light tan rough outs. This cleaner did help some, but It did not remove all the black marks on the boots. I plan to try a second cleaning to see if I can get more removed.

Worked great on my Sorel boots! The left hand side boot was cleaned and dried. The boot on the right hand side was not touched yet.

My 7 year old Cole Haan outdoor boots were looking pretty sad. I found a shoe repairman who was willing to tackle the stomped down heels. That gave the boots a new lease on life. 8o I decided to try Leather Honey. OMG, I need to say that twice, OMG!. I have a brand new pair of boots. The le!ther honey gave my boots a like new, rich black finish after 2 alpications. I'm so pleased. Absolutely excellent value for the money, a like new, fragrance free finish., that dries quickly. I rarely write reviews & ONLY if a product exceeds my expectations. Guilty of purchasing a “looks better in pic than in person” Loewe bag on Ebay. When it arrived, I realized reason for low price was that every shadow in the first (“Before”) pic was a dirt mark, including a large one where bag was often rubbed by previous owner’s coat, etc. I also realize the suede was dried out. I tried a suede eraser & brush. Nothing. This stuff works but you MUST follow the directions to gently brush first THEN saturate the suede object to be cleaned. It is so scary! When I was done, bag was much cleaner, but dry & unconditioned. So I followed with Saphir Renovateur in Neutral. Magic!! The cleaning + vegetable oils in the Renovateur made the bag “juicier” again, with that nice, buttery suede feel. I followed with Apple Gardè Rain & Stain Repellent (I use it on my Louis Vuitton handles & it never discolors or darkens.) A lot of work + product, and it’s not brand new, but I am now proud to wear this bag. Best of luck in your suede cleaning journey!
