- The blend door actuator is responsible for controlling the flow and temperature of air into the interior of a vehicle. When you turn the knob to increase or decrease the temperature or air flow, the signals go through the blend door actuator. It also controls the defrosters and other vents.

Solved my issue quickly. Driver's side was stuck all the way hot in my 08 Accord. Needless to say, it was sweltering in my car until I installed this.
