Very sturdy. Factory oils were pretty prominent so make sure to heat/fire this thing about 2-3 times before using food on it. Stays hot for a while.

Simply the best for one or two people you can't go wrong it makes perfect steaks plus with a griddle that you lay on top, you can turn around cook eggs and bacon and sausage. It's wonderful. I got this for the hubby for Father's Day and both of us could not be more pleased. It's the perfect size for travel and is so easy to assemble and use. Even if you have a gas grill, this is a must have item for cooking steak. You will not be disappointed…..

First, gorgeous! Very easy to put together, took less than a minute. Extremely heavy. Must be seasoned before using. We have taken it camping twice already. Easy to clean if you prep it before using it (do not put food directly onto the rack). Makes a great gift!

This large cast iron hibachi outdoor grill is solid and very well constructed. The grill is very large so it will meet all of your outside cooking means. The grill is portable so you can take it where you want it for use. The grill heats up quickly and maintains heat because of the cast iron material. This grill makes a great new addition to your outside cooking needs. The price a a cast iron cooking product is very reasonable.

This is a solid, sturdy cast iron hibachi type grill. Very well cast and finished, with no weird sticky outy bits of metal. Smooth and ready to go. This is a HEAVY, good sized grill at about 19x8x10 outside measurements. The grill/griddle plate is 16.5x10, plenty of room to cook up a full meal! The deep fire bowl part can burn charcoal for a yummy dinner, or wood for after dinner snuggles and s'mores. The unit has feet, so it can stand on cement, or you can put it on a STURDY table (not glass). It weighs about 35 pounds, so be sure the table is sturdy and stable. I'd bet a cement picnic table at the park would work fine (make sure bbqing is allowed at the park!).While the unit has a bail handle, I'd only handle the grill when completely cool, and lift with your legs, not your back!The grill has a sort of door on the front making it easier to get ash out, or to get additional air in to start your fire. I prefer this "little" grill to my old propane unit, it's just easier for me to handle charcoal. This will feed our family at parties or just a fine Saturday steak or burger dinner.After wiping clean, a quick run over with an oiled paper towel will keep this grill sleek and seasoned.While this grill is costlier than a cheap beach grill you might grab at the store, with proper care this beast will last for years! Worth the cost!

This is an absolute beast! It's cast iron, so that's not shocking, but it was still surprising trying to pick up the box for the first time.It can be moved as one piece with the handle, but the grill and other panels aren't attached, they just sit in place. This is actually really nice if you don't want to lug the whole thing at once.It's been cold here, so I haven't had a lot of opportunity to use it. But that didn't stop me from testing it out a few times and I was very happy with the results. Even in very cold weather (~20 degrees) I was able to bring it up to temperature and cook some of the best burgers I've had in a while. I was able to control the airflow easily and the cast iron retained a lot of heat. I was worried because there is a warning about rapid temperature changes and a risk of cracking. But I started with a small amount of charcoal and let it slowly come to temperature and let it gradually cool when I was done. It survived the cold with no issue.I am looking forward to using this when it starts getting warmer, but I might enlist family to help move it around.
