Your cart is empty.Works with gold, brass, silver, copper, aluminum, and more! The two ceramic silica crucibles can withstand temperatures up to 2500°F (1371°C); sizes 500 grams and 750 grams. This kit also includes a 6 ounce package of anhydrous casting flux, a 5/16" in diameter x 12" long graphite stir rod, plus a pair of large whip tongs that will securely hold your crucible while your pour and cast your molten metals. Also includes a 6 ounce package of anhydrous casting flux (simply add to your melts to draw out impurities and “slag”, as well as help keep your molten metals at a more liquified state, resulting in nicer, and cleaner, more refined pours).

Really liked using it. Takes a little longer to melt the silver I have with a propane torch. It worked well for what I was using it for.

I bought this item after doing research on the internet and thought this would be a great kit to buy, WRONG!!! Both crucibles cracked after the 2nd use and when I emailed the seller they told me yes they only last for several uses and to come back and buy replacements. This should last longer than several uses and if not should have been in the product description! This could have severally injured someones, they product and the seller are both junk! Buyer beware!
