I was disappointed with this. When Inread steamer trunk, I expected a much larger item. This is about the size of an old army foot locker. It looks good, but functionally, it is useless as far as storing blankets or linens.

Was not solid wood. Made of cheap wood veneer material. Pretty chincy for the price. It also came covered in mildew, chipped, cracked and had pieces falling off. Not impressed at all.
