I found this to be the perfect hight for me even when standing. It was so easy to put together that I think my grandson could have done it for me. The clamp that holds the loop could be a little tighter but it does hold I feel that for the price you pay you get a good quality stand

A solid 4.5.Pros: I was looking for a floor stand that had a swivel function with the hoop holder so I could adjust my hoop to my neck instead of the other way around. This gets me 90% there.I also wanted the stand to adjust so that I could use it on the couch, in a chair and in bed and this gets pretty close.It was easy to assemble and fairly sturdy. I like that it's all wood.Cons: As it's used and moved, some of the joints start to come loose and require adjustments. The hoop holder is a bit fiddly, but eventually I did figure out how to use it. The instructions arent clear on how to adjust the holder, but you need to use both screws to get it to clamp tightly.This has helped my neck alot though, and has accomplished what I had hoped by getting a stand.

I got my Lap top cross-stitch frame today and I really like it! It took me a little time to put it together, maybe some better instructions would help, but other than that I found that it was a good sturdy frame and the parts fit together very well. I already have my fabric in it and I'm ready to stitch! Oh, and my cat loved the box!

I had to return this item, it has a great design but is cheaply made. The wood isn't finished. The knobs came loose and no longer stood up-right.

This product broke during assembly and did not come with clear instructions. Now I am responsible for the hassle of returning this to try to get one that may or may not hold up to the rigorous assembly process or getting my money back. Don’t waste your time or money.

I took my time deciding which needlework frame to buy. There are definitely cheaper versions, but once I saw the QUALITY (and quality control!) of this, I'm glad I spent the extra money. You really do get what you pay for.I must admit, I was intimidated when I opened the box. I am not mechanically inclined whatsoever (and have arthritis in my hands), so the box sat on my table for a few days. I even considered returning it out of fear I couldn't do it!Eventually I decided to just go for it and I laid out everything in an organized fashion and used the Q Code on the instruction sheet which led me to a YouTube video. I slowed the speed by 50% and got busy!I did have to strong-arm a couple of pieces because new wood on wood can be tight but otherwiseit came together beautifully in about 15 minutes!!I grabbed a sampler piece I'd been working on and rigged it to the frame nice and snug.Wow. My first stitches were a breeze and my hands didn't cramp at all.I'm so excited to continue my embroidery hobby now in a more relaxed, comfortable and enjoyable way.I can't recommend this enough.***** Five stars all the way.

I looked at a lot of different kinds of this product and decided on this one. Directions with photos and in English, but it's super easy to put together. When I first opened the box, I was intimidated by how many parts and put off assembly for a few days, as I am not mechanically inclined and often struggle with assembly. I was pleasantly surprised when I dug in and assembled it. The only thing I struggled with was the rods that go into the wood spaces... but I got it! Excited to use this. Very sturdy, also!

I like that you can use it on the stand or off the stand. Right now I'm using it off the stand and it works great
