Truck: Redcat Gen8 V2The bumpers look awesome mounted on the truck. The front bumper posts are barely long enough and requires use of the furthest possible slot. The diameter of the slot was also too small and had to be drilled out with a 1/8” drill bit. The rear bumper also used the furthest possible slot and required trimming of the body for everything to fit properly. Both posts front and rear require the bumper post adapters that came with the truck. The quality of the bumpers is pretty great and allows for some level of customization with how many braces you have on the front bumper and you can remove the tire mount or add an antenna on the rear. I’ve put mine through some abuse and they’ve held up through it all.

I broke mine on my first real drive, clipped a tree with the bumper on a trail and it cracked right at the mount point. Hit a rock and it busted clean off. This is really for looks only, not function, it scratches up easy and breaks your car worse than a plastic bumper.

Bumpers are amazing no question about it. The metal trailer hitch is pulling a trailer and a boat no problems. The rear bumper spare wheel gate swings out to access rear of vehicle - love that. Love the metal tow shackles. Love the contrast between colors on front bumper.The reason for 4 stars is that lights with rear bumper were white instead of red - I had to purchase red lights separately..... If seller is reading this, I'd appreciate replacement red lights sent out to me. Thanks
