When I started putting this together, I was pleasantly surprised how easy it seemed, but 4 to 5 hours later I was pulling my hair out with frustration. The Allen wrench is super small and it was difficult to get any leverage to use it properly. My hand was sore for 2 days from that stupid wrench. It’s missing drill holes in some places, but I did not make my own replacement holes for fear of totally splitting the already flimsy wood. As a result, the cart is not super sturdy because it’s not secured in all the places it’s actually supposed to be. No matter what I did, I can’t make the top drawer slide easily, and I have to actually lift the drawer up and in order to get it to go flush (but still crooked) into the unit each time. It has drawer slides on it so that theoretically shouldn’t happen, but it’s like the drawer slides are awkward or something. The magnets for the bottom doors are incredibly weak and don’t work at all, so the bottom doors tend to sway open on their own which is annoying. There is a paper towel holder on one side, but they don’t include enough hardware for it so it’s hanging on by a thread. Unfortunately, if you don’t use the paper towel holder because it’s either on the wrong side for you or whatever reason, you’ll be stuck with big open holes showing where it’s supposed to be. They do include little white wood pieces to put over all of the other screw heads, but they are small and most do not stay in unless you glue them. I am not about to glue these in yet, because the stand is so rickety, it requires me to keep re-tightening the hardware and I’m not about to have to try to pry those pieces out every time. It’s actually a pretty flimsy and cheap cart overall. The picture makes it look much nicer than it is. Several of the individual pieces came scuffed up out of the box. I guess the top is granite, it is very heavy, but it just looks like a chintzy pattern on the top. I have put hot things from the microwave on it and it seems to do OK. It also arrived four days late, which was super annoying because I had to have someone here every single day waiting for it to bring it inside at my residence. Every day Amazon told me it was coming that day (I was calling) and in the end I came to find out they knew all along It had never even been shipped from the initial vendor. If they had been honest about the delivery issue, it would have saved someone the trouble of sending someone to my residence every single evening for me waiting for this stupid thing to arrive.

It’s not going to last forever, but it will do the job. The screws that hold the drawer together ripped up/stripped the fiberboard, so I had to glue them in-hopefully it holds. A couple of the white blanks that go in the holes to cover the screws went into the hole too deep while putting them in with my fingers. I also didn’t get the dowels that hold the top on, so I made some that are close enough. It looks nice though, it will likely last as long as I’ll need it to.

I had high hopes for this island as it looked really good in one of the video reviews. I will say that from a distance, it looks great. The granite matches my counter tops pretty close and that part came in good condition. The island itself is another story. It is very poor quality. The paint chips off as you put it together and there are cracks and scratches in the wood. It has an extremely bad chemical smell! I am not sure if it is the packaging or if it's the paint on the island. I've had it together for over a week now and when I opened the cabinet door yesterday I could still smell the chemical smell. The paint job is shoddy at best and the hardware came rusted. One of the little screws that holds the drawer track on was bent and this caused the drawer to get stuck when pulling it out. I had to take the screw out just so it could slide properly. I'm keeping it as a temporary solution but I definitely would not buy it if I had to do it over again.

Fits perfectly in our remodeled kitchen.Nice granite top. Not wobbly at all as noted in other reviews. I would recommend this brand and purchase again if needed. Assembly was easy for my husband. Great product!

This cart is perfect! I looked all over and ready MANY reviews before choosing this cart. The reviews told of difficulty in assembly and missing parts. We had NONE of these problems. It did take a bit to assemble since YOU are the one touching every piece. They came well wrapped and well marked. I admit that to start we were a little confused with the detailed directions but USING LOGICAL THINKING, we then assembled more free lance and it came out perfectly! You have to reason out the finished project and then think through the steps. It took 2 of us two hours from start to finish. The top is beautiful. I LOVE IT!

I purchased this cart for my kitchen about 6 months ago and it is still going strong. It is sturdy, the drawer is a nice size. i have cutting boards and towels in mine. The bottom shelf is a good size. It is not very thick wood on the bottom shelf so I wouldn't put anything really heavy on there, but I have baking dishes on there and it is holding up just fine. I really like the stone top because it is so durable. It was relatively easy to put together.

Very nice looking cart with a real granite stone top. Assembly took about an hour but I took it slow. Also made sure not to put too much torque when tightening the hex screws so that the panels would not get damaged. Had to be extra careful as the parts didn’t seem that sturdy however they do seem to be real wood. When mounting the magnet for the cabinet doors please make sure to stop turning at the first sign of resistance, otherwise the screw will warp the nylon hole and go right through it. The magnet is quite weak so it doesn’t really function. For the price, I was expecting borderline junk that I’d use until I moved apartments and I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. A good looking cart.

This little sucker did take a little bit of time to build, but it was worth it. It was packaged very well and each part was labeled with a letter so that you could follow the instruction manual.I did have to undo a few pieces I had put upside down and the unit is VERY heavy - solely because of the granite slab. This fits perfect in my tiny kitchen and gives it a little bit of class. Basket and hand towels were purchased separate from Marshalls.
