Reliably charged my radio. No muss, no fuss.The only negative is that the base seems to be made to fit a larger radio and it can be a bit difficult to get mine in right sometimes. Not a big deal, i figure it is made for several models.

When we misplaced the charger for our Kenwood TH-D72 we searched everywhere to find it then we searched online for a replacement. Name brand KSC-32's are in the $60-$70 range but this charger was only $21. It works perfectly fine with no issues. Glad we bought this quality item for a third of the cost.

When I place my TH-D72A in the cradle the red charging LED comes on momentarily (indicating charging status) but in a few seconds it switches to GREEN (indicating charging COMPLETE).The battery status as shown on the display shows the battery needs to be charged still. The Kenwood supplied charger works (of course).I guess this must be an anomaly as the other reviews here are sharing how great this charger is.Will be returning this unit.
