Was missing a part, looked like someone ripped open the side of the box, I called Kreg to purchase replacement, they said they would send part right away, UPS . This Rip Cut really looks top notch , can't wait till my part gets here and I can finish the assembly, and use this.

This product has been very helpful and fits many circular saws as long as they are on a sled. It’s important to make sure you tighten down the screws appropriately to your sled so that the apparatus does not move relative to your saws. If you do not do this correctly, your saw will move as you apply pressure which at best will lead to an inaccurate cut, at worst it is very dangerous and you could cut yourself. Please take all the proper precautions, and consider working with someone for extra safety.

As described. Easy to add and remove from saw. Makes long rip cuts easy. An alternative to not having a Table Saw available. Kreg Product, Plastic and Aluminum construction, sound quality. Would recommend.

Key words “Saw guide”!This item works as it should and is well worth the money. It’s amusing that so many bad reviews have been left because the item “feels like it’ll break”.This item is made of ABS plastic which is the same material found in the interior and exterior of cars! Its durable hard plastic. Indestructible? No absolutely not.I purchased this to use as a GUIDE and it did exactly what the marketed name implies.Other reviews state that it wasn’t square out of the package. Mine was slightly off but I unscrewed the guide handle and adjusted it prior to use. Other reviews stated that the “ruler guide” was off by an 8th of an inch so I didn’t even bother using it. I used a T-edge that I already knew to be accurate to mark my cutting point prior to adjusting my saw/saw guide.My only complaint is that i wish this guide attached to the saw at both ends because when you attach it to the nose of the saw the guide pulls away from the saw base plate at the opposite end. This doesn’t impact its effectiveness for once the saw is laid down the weight of the saw closes the gap but some people tend to lift their saw at the end of the cut instead of pushing all the way through the cut which could be problematic resulting in chipping especially if you’re cutting a MDF/HDF with a veneer as I was. FYI i used a 40T blade to prevent the veneer from chipping.

Los cortes con la sierra circular al menos en mi caso eran toda una pesadilla, ajustar la guía para hacer un corte derecho era tardado y y si deseas repetir el mismo corte ni hablar otra vez a empezar desde cero.Con esta guía todo eso es cosa del pasado, cortes rectos y fáciles todo el tiempo aún en tableros grandes, yo lo adquirí con dudas pero estoy muy contento con los resultados, desde ahora Kreg tools tiene un seguidor más de sus productos, si necesitan una guía para sierra circular esta es la única que van a necesitar materiales de calidad y alta precisión, altamente recomendable.Gracias Kreg por tan buena herramienta, y gracias Amazon por el excelente precio.
