First timer. It is quite detailed and I worked at it on/off for over 1 week. Definitely not enough of color 18, but plenty of all other colors.

Really first class packaging- the instructions and picture of painting are on nice card stock and other locations shown should you want to purchase another. Includes two options for hanging and first quality paint brushes. First time I have left a review of paint by number and I purchase quite often. I will find this company - Kraftistry - and purchase from now on!!!

This was a very fun paint by numbers kit that was purchased for relatives that went to Italy. They really enjoyed it. It was relaxing and easy to follow directions. It was entertaining l”and relaxing and ended with a perfect addition to their travel memories

Thick paint, high quality, but it dries fast! The detail is quite impressive of the drawing, and my artist daughter said some of the tiniest details are next to impossible to fill in they are so small. The overall impression is very good however, and rounding up 4.5 stars to 5 stars. This one will take some time to complete due to the sheer number of little sections with different colours.

This little paint by numbers kit is so fun! It’s got pretty much everything you need, from start to finish, to put this painting together: Obviously the paints, the canvas, and the reference picture, but also several types of good quality brushes (different sizes/fineness), as well as hanging hardware for when you’re ready to display your masterpiece. The whole thing is pretty simple to put together, and it’s pretty forgiving whether you like to work one color at a time, or swap between different colors and clean your brushes in between. The paint is decently thick and pigmented -- it’s not the greatest quality of acrylic, but it’s by far from being the worst, either. It’s definitely thick enough to cover up the guidelines with a thick, broad stroke; however, if you’re painting a thin layer (like if you’ve just dipped your brush in water or something), you might want to go back and paint on another layer. Also, when the paint dries up, there’s no pigment transfer -- this is nice if, like me, you used a gold metallic marker pen (not included in the kit) to embellish some of the details.Overall, this makes a perfect gift because it’s whimsical and engaging enough for most people, without being too frivolous -- and it’s the perfect thing to give to someone when you don’t know what to get for them. I highly recommend it for a coworker's secret Santa gift (or something similar)!

Bought this as a birthday gift, and it was a hit! The Tokyo design is beautiful, and the kit includes everything needed—high-quality canvas, vibrant acrylic paints, and even hooks for hanging. This painting kit is perfect for beginner adults or little kids. It is ideal for teenagers or youth who have enough time and want to get into painting. You get everything in this kit including three paint brushes of different sizes, 24 different acrylic paints, the picture itself, and hooks and nails in case you want to put this frame on an easel. The painting does not come with an easel stand.The picture itself looks great and there are plenty of different colors involved so I like the contrast between the lights and darks. I would have preferred for the lines of the painting to be a little more thick so that the colors do not go outside the area you are supposed to paint. However this is very minor and the paper you are supposed to paint on is very thick so there are no problems with the paints seeping through. This kit takes a long time to complete due to all the different colors involved, so you can expect it to take at least two weeks even if you paint for 1-2 hours every day. It all depends on your expertise. For $30, this is a nice picture and you get enough paint with some leftover as well so it is worth your money.

This is a great kit. I love going to paint nights with friends and following along to YouTube tutorials and this is just another fun creative way to paint.I am impressed with everything they included with this kit - the paints that are clearly organized, 3 sizes of brushes, the canvas, a paper copy of the canvas, 2 different ways of hanging the picture once you're finished, and a sticker of the final design! There's also a manual so in the event your paint is a bit dry there are instructions on how to revitalize it (mine was all fine and fresh) and even contact info in case something is missing or needs to be remediated.The paper reference copy came much more in handy than I realized it would. When you're working sometimes you stray outside the lines a bit (oops!) and cover the adjacent number so it's very helpful to be able to check what is supposed to be there so the design looks right.The paint has a good thickness to it, but could be a bit more opaque. I found I had to do touch-ups in spots with the lighter paint colours to fully hide the numbers and lines.There are 3 different sizes of brushes included in the kit. The medium size had a couple longer bristles that I had to trim off, the other two were fine. The wood handles are a bit skinny but are nice to hold.Overall I am super happy with this kit and would purchase another for myself or as a gift with no hesitation. 5/5!
