Works perfectly for a KTM 790R. 7/8" for the left grip and 1" to fit over the throttle tube on the right. 130mm in length. Requires some trimming of length on the throttle side. Used renthal grip glue instead of supplied glue. Wires are long enough to attach to auxiliary power in the tail cone. Very clean look when installed.

Bought these for my 2012 Kawasaki Versys 1000. Only one thing I would change about these grips, and it's not that important, they go through the power sequence low to high. I find I like to start high and work to lower settings. That said, these grips work great, and look fantastic. On my last 2 bikes I used a competitors grip and loved them, these have no controller mounted on the bars somewhere, just a small button on the grip itself.Make sure when you install them you align the button so you don't hit while hitting the turn signal.

The electrical portion of the Koso Apollo heated grip installation on my BMW G310GS wasn't difficult but the mechanical installation was a pain. The sparse instructions were very clear that I was not to alter any parts, even though this is a universal part that doesn't actually fit. I used a coarse rat tail rasp and sandpaper to file down and sand the inside of the right grip and remove the ridges from the throttle sleeve and used RTV silicone to adhere the heated grip to the grip sleeve. I made a taper recess on the inside opening of the right grip to accommodate the flange on the throttle sleeve. I sourced 45mm M8 X 1.25mm cap screws to replace the screw on the right grip that was too short for the new heated grip length, so I could use an M8 nut and a stack of lock washers as a spacer so the bar end weight doesn't bind the throttle.I bought the special crimp connectors that mate to the wired connectors on the rear of the instrument panel display on the G310GS. These are two accessory circuits that are only on when the bike is on, to avoid running down the battery. I believe they are each capable of supplying 7 amps. I wasn't able to source the specialty connectors on Amazon so I bought them on eBay from a seller in Canada. This prevented me from splicing into the BMW wiring. All electrical additions plug into these two accessory circuits. My biggest tip - DO NOT USE THE SUPPLIED SUPER GLUE. Cyanoacrylic adhesive is always a disaster for me, and this was much worse than usual. You don't want the new heated grips permanently installed halfway on the handlebar, with your fingers glued together and a blob of ugly superglue with some of the skin from your palm stuck to your new heated grip. For the most part, the Koso grips look and operate like factory grips because the control is integrated into the left grip. I love that. Maybe I should have mounted the heated grip switch in a less convenient location. I often inadvertently turn on the heated grips in the summer. I'm sure I'll appreciate the heated grips more when riding in the fall and if I ride this winter.Much as it tortured my soul to use a razor knife to cut off the very nice new BMW grips, the Koso Apollo grips have a nice look and feel, and I like the larger diameter. It's comfortable and less fatiguing, but I have freakishly large hands so your mileage may vary.It was ironic that I sweated for several hours in a 100 degree Fahrenheit garage installing these heated grips.Update: After 8000 miles, I love the Apollo heated grips. This is the first time I've had heated grips on a motorcycle. I expected to get some use out of them in colder weather but I use them all the time, including mornings and nights when the weather is a bit chilly. The heated grips allow my hands to always be the perfect temperature. The five temperature settings seem perfect to me. I ride in relatively thin abrasion resistant gloves and usually use the medium or medium high setting. High is for very cold conditions. If it's not very cold outside, the grips set to high are almost too hot to touch. I love the fully integrated controls as opposed to other brands that have a clunky controller box. The Apollo grips look like factory heated grips. I'll never own a bike without heated grips again. Despite some hassles during the installation (it's very difficult to make a universal product to fit other companies products), the Apollo heated grips are excellent, and well worth the cost and the time spent installing them

These grips are great. Been using them for a few months now. They do seem to wear a bit on the pattern but whatever. The heat is good, I ride lots of cold weather -5C not really good enough for that, but id say helps take the chill off for sure in all the warmish days. Anything probably above 8-10C you are probably okay using. They were an extremely tight fit on my bars, but did get them on without causing any issues. Love the fact that there is not an external switch, the switch within the grip is great, other than occasionally the button gets pushed when moving the bike at slow speeds, but doesn’t really matter.

Maybe I'm a fool, but I'm incredibly disappointed. I picked these because the local Ducati Dealer said they had some happy customers who had installed this exact model on their Panigales. The instructions show how to wire and operate the grips, but do not provide any guidance or warnings about installing the grips. Today, I attempted to install these on my 2014 Ducati Panigale 899. I was able to install the clutch side grip using light taps from dead blow hammer, but the throttle side was much more difficult. The Panigale throttle tube has ridges to hold the OEM grip, and some fairly delicate parts on the inboard end to interface with the throttle by wire (no dead blow tapping on the throttle side). The ridges had to go, and it only took a little quality with a dremel type rotary tool. After perfecting the fit through repeated sanding & dry-fit checking, I got a light press fit that allowed the grip all the way onto the throttle tube (also had to sand off the inner ridge for the throttle side OEM grip flange, and sand a countersink into the throttle side grip). The fit was such that the grip was difficult to get on and off, but relative motion was still possible under hard twisting. I attempted using hairspray to make the installation semi-permanent, but it didn't hold.Next, I decided to try the super glue that was included in the package with no instructions. This is where the project went very sideways. I added three longitudinal 1/64" beads of super glue, 1/4" between each bead. I quickly slid the grip into place, and it seized an inch too soon (less than 3 seconds of contact before total bond). I attempted to twist to get a little more movement, and broke the pin that holds the throttle by wire assembly to the clip-on. Unfortunately for me, I took on this risk rather than pay the Ducati Dealer, and now the throttle side grip is glued to the special throttle tube in a completely unusable way. It's not a big deal that I screwed up that pin, because I can't buy a separate throttle tube for this bike anyway. Ducati only sells the whole throttle by wire assembly for $317 (includes throttle tube and part I busted pin on).Wiring looked pretty easy, but I didn't get that far. The wiring harness has quick connects for each grip, a ring terminal for the battery, an inline fuse, and a bare ground wire. Just need to route three wires if the grip installation goes ok. Now to see if I can get the bike back in working order before nice weather happens later this week...Some notes:1. These grips are rigid before installation (hard plastic insert at the inner diameter)2. these grips add 1/8" to 1/4" vs stock grips on 7/8 bars3. If you are not exceedingly comfortable changing grips, pay somebody else to do this one for you.4. sorry I don't have any feedback on how these grips actually function...
