I ordered these as I needed something between the small plates/saucers and the large plates I have in black; I also wanted some plates that had higher sides/rims. These match my pre-existing set perfectly, appear to have a good finish, and seem to be dishwasher safe (as advertised) thus far. However, five of the six plates I received have significant scratches/scuffs in the coating. This is likely due to them being packaged without any kind of wrapping, and separated only by bits of cardboard. Additionally, none of the packaging or boxes indicated the contents is fragile, which may have contributed to the scratches. I will see if the scratches run deeper and/or if it means the finish/seal on them is broken in due time and will update this review accordingly.
