Very nice paper tray. Not as deep as I expected as the wood is thick. Only about 1" usable depth.

The biggest factor for me is the size of this tray. The listing states the dimensions are 12.3"x6.3", which is a good size to corral remote controls and why I got it. I don't order free things unless I have a specific purpose for them and/or they solve a problem for me. So, even though it looked like it could be different from the listed size, I went ahead and ordered it. It is, in fact, a large, generous size, measuring roughly 9 3/4" by 13" inside. So, it is perfect for paperwork or collecting a few odds and ends tidily while looking nice. It is also a decent quality product, very heavy and hard, and well-constructed. The stain is a pretty color but was sprayed on a bit unevenly in spots like corners, where it's not terribly noticeable, and it is not super smooth and shiny. Other than the roughness, though, it's a nice product that I would recommend, as long as you know the size.
