was very impressed with the ridgid structure of the case once installed had zero issues with running it for 8 days straight on mountain trails. It did not leak during rain storms or 3 days of snow 6in plus. My hunting buddy is going to replace his old one with this newer version. very good purchase

This boot is easy to install, and rifle fits good and snug. With standard rifle and scope, you have no issues but if you have a full-length suppressor, the boot will be a little short. However, you can fit a 24"-barrel rifle with a 6" suppressor. Doesn't slip right in but it will fit.

It's a piece of garbage. Putting my .416 ruger in it is almost like trying to put a square in a round hole. Taking it back out is a tug of war. I want quick, quiet and EASY access. They need to make the 6.0 more readily available. I wouldn't buy this again for any rifle.

Even as a Large case, it barely fits a rifle with scope. I have 50mm optics on my bolt action and it has to be shoved into the case and of course the lining comes out with it when removed. The mount will not fit the linq bed mounts on a can am. It is way too short. Called Kolpin and they have no solution even though the defender bed has been the same since 2016. Bought an XL to try and is no better on fit. And they definitely will not fit a pistol grip rifle with any size scope.If you use only small rifles and shotguns, this will work great. If you use larger scoped rifles or AR platform firearms, do not buy. Returning with amazon cost me half the price of the XL case

East to instal. Bought the L for my Christensen Ridgeline with a VX5-HD 44 scope and it was very tight. Bough the XL case and still tight but manageable. Harder to get out then I would like but small price to pay for gun protection.

Love the soft liner inside, protect my firearm really well. Sturdy as I've been using it on really rough terrain on my quad and it as not moved. After a couple of ride my firearm still hold zero so the scope is well protected. A little bit pricey versus the older model but the build quality and the liner protection are well worth it if you want your firearm to be well protected.

Mounted to tip-up dump bed with rifle barrel down a bit. Makes it so you can pull the rifle out easily as soon as you step out of the cab and still allows safe bed function if needed. Really like the way they snap in and out of the mounts - makes it easy to secure the rifles in a locked-up truck cab after you load up on the trailer. Good product.

Install was easy on my 98 Honda Foreman. The new Stronghold boot is made well and it’s one piece. No top of the boot to fly off and lose. Lid has a heavy duty hinge system with a rubber latch that keeps it snug. The included stronghold mount provides some customization with mounting and its lockable. Other cases purchased separately will work with the mount. The boot locks solid into the mount and is easily removed with a press of a button. Im overall happy with it.
