Ordered this part as replacement for a Kohler 25-098-09 on a Kohler 730-0075 engine on my 2003 Grasshopper model 725K2. Direct fir. My 2018 Grasshopper 725 has Kohler 25-098-21 starter on it and I’m quite sure this part is also the correct replacement starter. This starter is produced in Korea by Delco Remy for Kohler same as the one that came on my mower when new.. it started right up. Hope this helps, especially for those with older mowers trying to find the correct part number to order.

The starter is the right one and should bolt up right but the box was damaged it came in and the starter is damaged. Trying to get ahold of the seller now to get a new one.
