Bought this for our 10 year old son who started playing competitive basketball. His game changed for the better after donning these knee pads, saying it's SUPER comfortable and flexible. However, literally after using it a dozen times (practices 2 times a week, and past weekend tournaments), a tear developed and cracked the foam inside one of the pads. He does not slide on the floor, but on occasion falls to the floor when fouled or when there's a loose ball that comes his way.Wish the knee pad area was made more duarble and made with more reinforcement, but otherwise it was great purchase. Now looking to repair the small damage so he can continue to use them.

The sleeve has heavy chemical odor. It is not good for kids. Definitely need to wash it before using. It is bigger than expected. It can provide protection due to its thickness of knee pad. It is comfortable, but I do not recommend it due to its chemical smell.

My 7 year old plays goalie, which involves a lot of diving for the ball. He had beat up his knees pretty good, so we decided to get these. They're awesome! Flexible through the knee and he had his full range of motion. They stayed up well, and were relatively easy to get on and off. We got a medium because my son weights around 75 pounds and is very muscular. They fit well, with some room to grow! I'm really happy with these, and he is too.UPDATE 10/7/24 - My son has had these for a month now, and tonight a hole ripped in the knee. The padding is still intact so they are still functional, but it doesn't look nice anymore.

I got this kneepad set in small for my skinny 9 year old and it fits him perfectly. My son is an avid soccer fan and a player too. He plays for the local club and also practices with his dad in the neighborhood. He always has his shin guard and cleats on and these kneepads provide him an extra layer of protection to deal with hit on the knee or while falling down He is a fast runner and a really good striker (resulting is a good goal scorer) so gets fouled quite often and sometimes he would have to come off the field. In normal cases also while running they fall and hurt their knee, this has happened on concrete too and you can only imagine what falling on concrete does to the knee. Ever since this came not a day has gone by where he has not worn it and I have washed and dried the pair every time in perma press mode. This is a very well made product and always comes out of the Laundry "as is". No shrinking or threads coming out or wear and tear. I have to get him another one before this one quits on me. I do highly recommend.

I got this for my 9 year old as she has been watching her older sister play and wants to get into the sport some as well. They fit her great! She is a little tall for her age, but that didn't matter with these. We will see how well they hold up to a few days a week of wear and tear, but so far (two months later) they are still okay. No frayed seems or anything yet.

got these for my son for his upcoming basketball season. every now and then he goes down and I wanted to give him some extra protection for his knees. they fit well and are not too heavy or too light padding but the fit was a little large he had to pull them up high to keep them on. he is on the skinny side so maybe it's just him.

After a couple practices and 1.5 easy basketball games these completely ripped/melted from friction and foam is coming out. They would be awesome if there was any durability.

Mi niño es de 6 años pero alto y le quedaron perfectas. Son de buena calidad y material. El se las puso y esto todo el día con ellas (por la emoción) y en ningún momento se le bajaron o enrollados. El dice q se sienten cómodas.
