It's very light! The quality appears to be good. I got the battery, charged it up, and it made it through a 10 hour shift flawlessly, still showing a good charge. I am hopeful the battery holds up over time. Even if it only makes it a year or two, that's on par with the much more expensive Kenwood OEM Ni-Mh batteries that weigh a ton and only last a couple years.

Purchased this battery to have as a second one with me. Straight from the box the battery doesn’t hold up to the kenwood one in use. After a few transmissions and normal traffic on my radio it goes dead quickly. As for me I am a firefighter and a communications tech, communications unit leader and communications manager on fire assignments. All that being said I am not impressed with this battery over OEM.

Bought for a TK-5210 to replace a NiMH battery that didn’t hold a full charge anymore. This battery fit perfectly and is not as heavy as the old NiMH. I expect it will hold a charge for a longer period of time based on other lithium batteries. I left radio on for a day and it was still almost full.
