I absolutely love this intake from K&N. I have a 2008 Nissan Maxima and I wanted it to sound a little more aggressive without forking out the dough for a full exhaust system. This product far superseded my expectations! It gives my car a really deep and clean growl, especially in second and third gear above 2500RPM. Iād recommend this to anyone who is looking for that result.

this made a big power improvement on my 2005 nissan altima 3.5. i then added a magnaflow catback and didn't notice much of a power difference but, sounds great.

Great product...i can definitely feel and hear the difference. 4 stars because after installation i started hearing some pressure noises and the oil pressure light was coming on during idle once it was warm. After multiple visits to Nissan and no luck, i looked at everything and realized the last step on the directions does not fit my car. The intake shaft did not have a hole to allow the air back in from the motor and i had to purchase one of those mini looking intakes for the hole. Aside from almost spending tons of money or selling my car over something so simple, i am now happy with the intake. 08 Maxima

Put this on my 08 nissan maxima and it worked great. Easy to install if you follow directions But you will need a couple hours to do it. I had to strip out the two screws that go to oxygen sensor but the k & n filter came with two more for adaptor. Sounds great and has better response. So far has improved mileage by about .8 miles per gallon....could be better but i do lay it on the petal a little more just too hear it...

this product was shipped to me after already being use for some ,i guess the person who buy it before and return it sad thing is that went i try to install it in my car i found that it was some parts missing on top of that amazon or k&n i don't know whose that f.... don't want is defective product back .I don't recommend this product at all and i think the good comments about it are fake .

I had a cheap ebay cold air intake (CAI) that i HATED. The sound was terrible, and i did not like driving my car. Eventually i scrapped it and went back to stock. But with this one, the sound is great and my car feels a little faster!Follow up: It's been 9 months and it still sounds AMAZING. Filter still looks very clean. (I may buy a new one because i hate the color red-they don't make other colors.)i have videos of the intake on youtube, search Altima K&N Intake. Also Altima blue LED mods.

My wife has a 2006 Nissan Maxima Nismo series and she needed to get it smogged. The Stillen Intake that came from the factory floor was invalid as it did not come with CA legal docs or stickers. After replacing the Stillen Intake with this K&N one(easy install), she not only passed the smog test but also gained almost 10mpg in her overall mpg. This alone made the purchase worth it.
