I bought one for myself and also one for my daughter. These are so easy to use. Just fit it onto the cork then turn clockwise until the cork is out. Just trust it. Keep turning and the cork will be removed. Turn counterclockwise to remove the cork. Simple!!

Simple to use and works well. It does get a little hard to turn the top to unscrew the cork but you could insert a utensil into the bottle opener to get more leverage. I don't find it hard to turn. Overall easier than a "Rabbit" style level opener than rarely got the cork fully removed which forced a strong wiggle and pull to get the cork fully out. The bottle opener is magnetic so the cap stays put and is easily put in the proper bin. The foil cutter works better than my last two. The stainless finish makes for a good looking opener. Overall happy and a good choice.

I got this corkscrew since it keeps a really good foil cutter on hand by attaching it to its end. The cork screw itself is also excellent. I've probably used versions of every corkscrew ever invented. There's always the old reliable waiter's corkscrew, the rabbit versions, the wing versions, the electric versions, the rotten cork versions, and even the one that pushes the cork out with air pressure. This one is actually different from those. It's basically a barrel holding a cork screw mechanism. You hold the barrel over the top of the bottle with one hand and turn in the internal cork screw with your other. It's surprisingly easy. As you turn the screw into the cork, a mechanism engages to pull out the cork. When you feel the cork clear the bottle you're done. It does gets harder to turn as the cork comes closer to coming out, so I would guess with age the screw will dull, making it more of a chore. To remove the cork from the screw you just reverse the action. Works like a charm, even on bottles that are a bit larger at the top. The foil cutter is a dream compared to others I've used.I was skeptical, but am finding it no harder to use than the high end rabbit style I had been relying on. Mind you, for most wine bottles I think the waiter's corkscrew is the best, but there are bottle types it has trouble with, plus it's terrible for removing the foil. All in all, this one is a better choice.

Easy to use but the quality doesn't seem too good. Haven't had it long enough to be sure. So far I'm glad I got it because I have trouble using other openers.

My wife loves this opener. The foil cutter works easy, and the cork screw works very easily, in both extracting the cork from the bottle and easy to then extract the cork from the device. I like the bottle cap opener, as it has a magnet that catches the metal bottle cap.

The retraction of the cork works pretty well at the start, but with the one bottle I've opened with it so far it didn't pull the cork far enough and so much was left in the bottle that it was hard to "wrestle" it out of the bottle. I expect I didn't use it correctly , but will find out next time.

I have had the Rabbit and many other wine openers.They were hard to use and they broke pretty soon.Kitchendao is much easier to use than the others and works faster.The foil cutter also works better and faster than the cutters with the other brands.I LOVE it!
