This belt is a reliable choice for a 14-year-old who needs a belt for both formal and everyday wear. The ratchet system is a standout feature, allowing for small, incremental adjustments in tightness, which is great for a thin build. My boy ends up with pants that are loose around the waist because he’s so thin and this is great for him. The belt’s material appears to be of good quality, and it performs its function well. Overall, it’s a straightforward, effective belt that does what it’s supposed to do.

My son struggles to keep weight on. He is tall and impossibly thin, even though he eats us out of house and home. His pants never fit in both the waist and the leg length. Regular belts have holes at standard intervals, but those don't always line up with actual waist circumference, especially on him. This belt solves that problem for him as he just ratchets the belt to the size he needs and it is custom fit for him. His pants still don't fit in the waist well, but at least they aren't falling down. This belt also meets his school belt color requirement, so we are happy campers.

I ordered this kids leather ratchet belt for my 11 year old son. This is the first ratchet belt I have ever bought him and I wish that I bought him one way before now because with belts that buckle, he has trouble getting them buckled and unbuckled. As soon as I showed him the ratchet belt and explained it to him one time, he was able to take care of his belt by his self. I ordered my son the black leather belt and this belt has a little lever on the side of the buckle that releases the ratchet and it is very easy to use. I would recommend this belt to others!

I got this for my daughter who needed a nice dressy black belt for work. The quality is great and though it is marketed for kids, it fits my adult daughter perfectly. I really like the ratcheting system for getting the perfect degree of snugness and my daughter likes it too now that she understands how it works. I have several ratchet-type belts and it is worth noting that they do not all operate in the exact same way - the ratcheting works the same way but the release mechanism can vary a bit. Anyway, once you know how to operate the belt, it's all very simple. Personally, I much prefer this type of belt over the old standard buckle type.

I bought this belt for my son, and he really likes it. The ratchet system makes it super easy for him to adjust it himself, which is a big deal since he’s still learning how to do things on his own. The leather feels sturdy and looks nice. It’s held up really well so far, and he hasn’t complained about it being uncomfortable. The easy-release buckle is a nice feature, especially for quick bathroom trips. It’s simple but works great for everyday wear.

These ratchet belts are so cool. After my husband got one for himself, I thought, 'We definitely need some of these for our sons.' The belt uses a ratchet system, instead of the traditional holes, which makes it much easier to find those in-between fits. Once you get it figured out, it's so easy! All of our kids wear uniforms for school and our oldest is in that phase where he fits in the largest kids sizes, but he's one growth spurt away from a men's 30w. Did I buy more pants that fit him now? Of course not! Do men's pants have adjustable waist bands? Nope! So, he needs a belt. The middle kiddo is just skinny, so at 11yrs-old he can still "fit" in shorts/pants that are size 8, but they're too short. So, he needs a belt, too! Everybody gets belts!

I am very happy with this belt! I really have no complaints with it. I love how smooth and easy the ratcheting system is to use. It fits a wide range of sizes with the number of ratchet slots on the belt. The button works very well to release the belt system. I don't have complaints about the built quality or material quality of the belt. I would highly recommend this belt to everyone!
