I initially didn't heat the bolts hot enough and spun the nut on two of the bolts....it is a pain to get to the nut. Heat the bolts with a torch for more than 60 seconds and they come right out. I also had to sawzall the old body mounts off because they had rusted together. The new mounts worked great.... torqued to ~70lbs...not right enough so I hand tightened them as tight as I could get them.

They aren't oem. They are stiff as a rock. They are not the same size as the old ones.

Kit comes with everything needed to replace the Ford body bushings. Perfect fit for my 2008 F-250. The bushings were made to fit exactly in the Ford frame body mounts. Came with several different length bolts to fit a variety of year models. Replacing the bushings is a simple job unless you spin the cage nuts,....then it becomes work. Takes just a couple of hours if the old bolts come out easy, but a couple of days if you break the cage nuts loose,.....which has nothing to do with the quality of the kit. I can't speak to how long the polyurethane bushings will last as I just installed them, but polyurethane is what is recommended these days, and certainly better than the junk rubber Ford uses. If you need new body bushings, and you probably do, don't hesitate to buy this kit for your Ford.

I needed several of the mounts to repair accident damage. Depending on your mileage, local climate, and off road use, be prepared to for some backyard ingenuity for rusted hardware in inconvenient spots. You will need to remove some trim or carpet for most mount locations.The kit is complete, and I may replace others when I have more time. I suggest Googling online videos to help with install, but review tips and repair manuals for locations and R&R. The kit is good for a difficult job.

I'm currently restoring a 1936 Chevrolet. The car was restored years ago by a different owner. Upon taking the car down myself, I've noticed that they have done some shabby work. The body mounts were 2x4 wood blocks. I'm replacing with these and they're working out great. This kit comes with the bolts and metal caps that go on the top/bottom of the bushing. I'm painting the caps to color match the car. I now everyone will not be doing this, but I recommend you at least rattle can with primer and paint. The metal is bare and will eventually rust. It came with 10 bushings for different locations. The material is strong and feels very durable. I'm needing to cut them a little to keep my distance between the body and frame correct. I'm having to use a band saw because of how strong and durable they are. Now I'm cutting them because they're being installed on a unintended vehicle. It has nothing to do with the product being wrong. I'm feel better sure with the quality that these will fit the intended vehicle without modifications.

They fit perfectly. Nice product. Rate it 4.5 star's. The only thing is the polyurethane is really stiff. Gives a lot of road feel.
