I work as a pet groomer and having a rake to really pull undercoat, especially for de-sheds, is a big deal. I worry about creating brush burn from over brushing dogs, especially with items like slicker brushes. This is a god send. It’s comfortable to hold, gentle on the dog and really grabs that undercoat. I’m planning to buy another with a higher teeth count!

My groomer recommended this de shedder for my German shedder aka shepherd. Lol I can't say enough good things about it. I have never had a deshedder that works as great as this one does. You will have no worries about the quality or performance of this tool. If you have a heavy shedder I highly recommend this tool .

had this product for a year and only used it on my small Cavalier once every three months. Today it just broke while I was cleaning it. Terrible quality. I thought Kemchii was suppose to be top of the line. Not so. I'm opening a dog grooming parlor and will definitely not invest money in this brand of products.

Great tool for getting rid of undercoat on my cocker spaniel! I’m new at this. Very comfortable to use with my arthritic hands!

I use this tool for removing part of the dense undercoat on our Giant Schnauser to reduce nucience shedding and enhance the smooth appearance of the wirey top-coat. I particularly like the 40 tooth model of the Kenchii rake as it produces an effective result. This rake is also probably the best quality tool on the market.

I’m a professional groomer and a die hard Kenchii fan, I’ll say this tool is so-so. It’s certainly not a replacement for the Andis fine tooth deshedder, but I can see it has its place in my tool arsenal. Will work well on longer coats. The teeth have some give to them, which will help prevent any sort of irritation. Seems sturdy and well made.

All I can say is its made really well. It also does not work. I have 3 cats, one is a Norwegian Forrest cat. My old wire brush worked much better.This is a total waste of money. The company should have spent more time making sure their product worked.Seems amazon is full of garbage and I cant find ANYTHING that actually works. There is NOTHING on amazon that works.
