These are so well made and strong. I really like the aodt cushioning on the brackets to protect damage to the kayak. I have a hard plastic kayak as well as an inflatable and I dont worry about damage. They are pretty easy to install and get my kayak off the ground.

The frame on this kayak rack has a good build quality. Very quick and easy to install. I used larger screws than came with mounting kit. I wanted some extra strength because I was installing the rack outside. My kayak fit on the rack easily. I gave it 4 stars because I am using it outside on my carport's wall. The clips that hold the nylon straps are light weight. And I don't feel they would functional well in a strong wind. So I added an additional ratchet strap for extra security. If you are storing your kayak indoors this would not be a problem. But, the listing shows outdoor storage as a option. So I felt I should mention what seems like a weakness in this rack. The rack has nice padding to protect my kayak. I think this rack is a good value for the price.securely hold your boat in place
