The instructions were not very clear, it was pretty simple to assemble. It works good for blocking firewood and is the right height to save your back.

Works very well and is plenty sturdy. Recommend a couple 2-3 inch blocks the width of the unit to lay your logs on top of. Seems to help with stability and protects your saw from contacting the metal.

It works for most branches, but isn't as sturdy as I hoped. Chain constantly falls off. No assembly instructions included.

Worst. Instructions. Ever! I give it 1 friggin' star for the horrible instructions ALONE. I have no clue where the little spring chain hooks go or how to assemble it so I'm not wasting a bunch of time bent over getting a backache trying to figure it out on the floor. A proper Instruction video and paper Instructions would be something so simple to create and would save your customers sooooo much time, frustration and back ache. I will never order from a company this stupid again. Like everything else, it must originate in china. AND, it appeared to have been used. It looked like someone had already wrestled with it trying to put it together because of the bolt hole indentations, scuffs and scratches.

This sawbuck would be a wonderful addition to cut heavy logs. However, it arrived with missing parts that are necessary to lock the legs in place. It also has the worst instructions for an object that needs to be put together that I've ever seen. Even the video that explains how to put it together is misleading. It seems that these instructions were created by someone who doesn't speak English very well. Unless you're very familiar with sawbucks and how they work, you might consider other options.

Instructions are terrible. Pain to put together. Not even sure I have it put together correctly.

This item is way overpriced. It showed up on a box that looked like it had been through world war 3. The legs of the actual stand were totally worn and scratched every side. The hardware was luckily all there, as the bag had been ripped up and hardware was loose in the box. The quality of the actual steel is low and there’s many unfinished ends that you should be careful touching. The instructions were literally useless with the worse pictures and descriptions and I spent more time than I care to admit trying to engineer it together.I’m going to see if it work. Seems like now that it’s together it’ll probably hold some good sized logs. Hope it doesn’t fall apart during use.

This one is a little hard to review because the product itself is well-built, but the instructions and hardware are lacking. First the good. This sawhorse is well-built of 1" steel square tubing. The nut inserts in the components make them go together easily and, when set up, it is plenty sturdy. Now the not-as-good. The instructions are terrible. Nothing is identified or labeled. There is just a bag of hardware with no explanation in the instructions of where any of it goes. Step 1 is: "Insert 2 non-buckled iron pipes vertically into 3 buckled iron pipes, tighten screws, sawhorse A is finished." What is a non-buckled iron pipe? Or a buckled one for that matter? What they mean, I think is to put the ones without the loops (buckles) into the ones with the loops. And it's horizontally, not vertically. Oh well. I looked at the product description photos and figured that part out.Putting the two sides together is pretty easy. Then you have to put in the link that holds the two sides together when it is set up. It seems to me that you would want to secure it on both sides so that the bolt doesn't slide back and forth. But the bolt threads are not long enough for that. So I put it in with the bolt sliding back and forth. The allen wrench included is too large for those bolts so I had to go get one that would fit. Why provide an allen wrench that doesn't fit anything in the kit?So bottom line...This thing is well-made and plenty strong for placing logs on to cut into firewood. But they need some help with instructions and kitting the parts. Since it is high quality I gave it a "4". If it had included the right tools and better instructions, I would have rated it a "5".
