I owned a similar pair for years. The pair is well built and warm for winter. You can pull the skate with the properly placed tie on the shot, when putting them on. But i have a hard time to normally break on the ice, like i normally do: side ways. Not sure why: oversharpen ? Or is it because it's missing it's curve in the blade ?

I tried on about 6 different skates and these were the only ones that didn’t feel completely awful. They feel great and are easy to take on and off. Highly recommended

Die Größe ist passgenau. Auf dem Eis getragen sitzen diese Schlittschuhe fest und geben (vor allem durch die Schnalle) ein sicheres Gefühl.Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt 👍

My friend wanted to introduce me to skating and a couple of times I had to rent skates. I tried about 5 different pairs on, two different styles in a few different sizes. Every pair of rental skates were horrible, so I decided to look for a reasonably priced pair.I chose these ones because I've still got my K2 rollerblades from 1999 and they are still going strong, and these are an almost identical design, but with steel blades instead of wheels.I didn't sharpen them, they didn't need it. They come with a pretty good edge out of the box.I've used them a few times now, from really nice firm ice, to slushy soft ice, and they feel fantastic on everything compared to those rental skates.The boot is so soft and forgiving on your feet, the straps and ankle support are sturdy and secure. They are just a pleasure to wear.There is a far superior feeling of grip and control on the ice with these skates, and if you skate more than once or twice a year, you should definitely get a pair of these, as your experience will be so much better. Also with skate rental around £4 a time, these are affordable enough to justify the cost.For casual skating, I would buy these again in a heartbeat. Remember to properly dry your blades off and don't store them with ice left on them.

I had high hopes for these skates but their design just doesn't support the top of the skate. Your ankles are afforded way too much movement no matter how hard you crank down the straps. This lack of support causes a lot of pain across the arches of your feet, as the work of stabilizing your ankle is passed onto your feet instead of the skate. The top buckle just isn't enough support to immobilize the ankle. my damn kids destroyed the box, so now I'm left wondering how to make these work. I'll probably have to buy a wide velcro strap and stuff a couple of metal bars into the sides. I was sorely disappointed in these skates, I'd been better off buying some hockey skates off ebay. Don't buy soft boot, just get normal skates.
